About Coach and Train Tours
Okay, so you've decided you want to explore North America by road, but you
don't drive, or don't want to drive. No problem. We've arranged a sensational
selection of coach tours. No worries about map reading for you. Simply sit
back and let an experienced driver take control, leaving you time and
freedom to take in the landscape passing by those big, polished windows.
Coaches in the USA are, as you might expect, enormous, very comfortable
vehicles with air-conditioning and big, sofa-like seats. For all of our tours,
we use the best operating companies available. All have fully trained
guides who will be with you right from the time you set off, up until the
time you disembark. They will explain the sights you see en route, both
on the coach and during the excursions at the various destinations.
We have a selection of coach tours for you. On the West Coast, sights
such as the Grand Canyon, Golden Gate Bridge and Pacific Highway await,
together with the thrills of Las Vegas and the movie landscapes of the
Arizona and Utah deserts. On the East Coast, you'll meet with the rolling
green mountains and sparkling lakes of rural New England, explore cultured
Boston and follow the charming coastline from sandy beaches to craggy,
lighthouse-topped rocks. Naturally, we have eastern tours that include
those amazing Niagara Falls. Elsewhere in eastern Canada, we have tours
to the great cities of Québec, Toronto, Montréal and the capital Ottawa, as
well as to the breathtaking countryside that surrounds them. We even have
a fabulous coast-to-coast experience, the New York to Hollywood tour, that
includes sights such as world-famous Mount Rushmore.
We also have one of North America's most amazing rail journeys, the Western Rail Explorer in Canada. You board a big, comfortable train with air-conditioning and roomy seats, for the journey of a lifetime, staying in, often spectacularly situated, hotels en route. This tour takes you from the drop-dead gorgeous city of Vancouver through the stunning Canadian Rockies, taking in Jasper, Banff and beautiful Lake Louise.
