Toronto

After settling in at your hotel there’s plenty of time to explore. Perhaps some shopping at the Eaton Centre appeals or head to the observation decks at the top of the CN Tower for some stunning views – especially at sunset. Other sights include the SkyDome, Ontario Place, the Hockey Hall of Fame and the Royal Ontario Museum. It’s lively at night in the city centre so join in the fun!

Toronto - Kingston

Head east today to Kingston, taking the highway route or venturing through the quaint heritage towns of Prince Edward County. Known as Canada’s ‘Museum Capital’, there are over 20 museums and historic sites to tempt you, including UNESCO World Heritage Site, Fort Henry.

Kingston – Montreal

En route to Montreal, you’ll be entering the beautiful Thousand Islands region, an incredible region where forested islands lie amid tranquil lakes. Montreal – Quebec City

Leave the bright lights of Montreal for the charm of Quebec City, stopping en route at Cap-de-la-Madeleine, Canada’s national shrine to the Virgin Mary. You can also visit the Museum of Quebec Folk Arts and Traditions in Trois-Rivieres for a fascinating insight into local history. Canada’s oldest city, Quebec exhibits a strong French heritage. Get your bearings on a sightseeing tour that includes the Latin Quarter, the Plains of Abraham, the Citadel and the Fortifications. Venture outside the city during your stay and visit Montmorency Falls, the Ile d’Orleans and the dramatic shrine at Ste. Anne-de-Beaupre. There are plenty of excellent bars and restaurants to tempt you in Quebec come sundown as well as intimate, lively venues known as ‘boites a chansons’, featuring solo singers or small groups of musicians – a great way to capture this city’s exciting vibe!

Quebec City - Ottawa

Drive one of several routes to Ottawa, the nation’s capital. With 2 days to explore, we suggest a visit to the Parliament Buildings or perhaps a tour of Rideau Canal, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. There’s also the Royal Canadian Mint as well as plenty of museums, including the National Gallery. For an authentic aboriginal experience, an excursion to Turtle Island is recommended, with its tepee’s and wigwams. Take a guided tour, watch a native dance demonstration, enjoy traditional aboriginal dishes and listen to legends and stories being told – all without leaving the city centre!

Ottawa - Huntsville

Say goodbye to Ottawa and embark on the drive to Algonquin Provincial Park and the beautiful Muskoka region. Huntsville is a veritable outdoor playground with championship golf courses at your disposal, scenic boat cruises, horseback riding and hiking trails aplenty. A short drive away is Lions Lookout Park as well as Muskoka Pioneer Village, where you can learn about local history.

Huntsville – Niagara Falls

Niagara Falls – the honeymoon capital of the world – is your destination today. Home to one of the world’s natural wonders, get up close and personal on a Maid of the Mist tour, whisking you past the American Falls before sailing past massive rock formations to the thundering Horseshoe Falls. There’s plenty of opportunity to take some great photos, just make sure your camera’s water-proof!

Niagara Falls – Toronto

Head back to Toronto through Ontario’s fruit growing region, stopping at the Welland Canal before reaching the airport for your return journey home.
