Your base is the Grand Hotel, a modern, comfortable hotel with distinct western flair, close to the south rim. On arrival, watch the sun set over the canyon, marveling at the ever-changing colours. Early morning is another time to catch the canyon in all its glory. Hiking tours can be arranged through your hotel or take a helicopter ride and explore its hidden interior.

For the young and young at heart, there's a lovely carousel at McCormick Stillman Railroad Park  At night, relax in one of many exquisite restaurants serving a wide range of world cuisine.

Scottsdale - Lake Havasu

Lake Havasu - Palm Springs

After 14 days in the desert it's time to return to Los Angeles for your last night.
