Los AngelesLos Angeles

1 night’s accommodation at Marriott LAX.
Upon arriving in Los Angeles, you will transfer to your comfortable LAX airport hotel. After dropping off your bags, feel free to head on over to Santa Monica or Hollywood for some very hip and happening sightseeing before checking in with your Tour Leaders in the hotel lobby between 1600 and 1800 hrs for further instruction on the evening's Welcome Dinner and other activities.

Los Angeles – Palm SpringsLos Angeles – Palm Springs

1 night’s accommodation at Palm Mountain Resort, Palm Springs.
After a hearty welcome breakfast, you’ll be transferred to EagleRider's World Headquarters in Los Angeles to pick-up your bike. Hop on-board for the first leg of your journey along winding mountain roads to Lake Elsinore before continuing through San Bernardino into Palm Springs for your overnight stay.

Palm Springs - LaughlinPalm Springs - Laughlin

1 night’s accommodation at Aquarius Resort, Laughlin.
Loop through Joshua Tree National Park, marvelling at the ever changing colours of the landscape and some fantastic rock formations. You'll then enter onto Historic Route 66 at Twentynine Palms and ride it all the way to Laughlin, crossing the state line into Nevada. Overnight in Laughlin.

Today's ride continues along legendary Route 66 into Arizona, stopping en-route at Kingman, situated at the very heart of the old ‘Mother Road’. From Kingman,you'll be off to Seligman, another long stretch of Route 66 which heads off in a northern loop through the Hualapai Indian Reservation. After stopping for lunch you will continue towards the Grand Canyon to admire one of nature’s finest wonders!

There’s not a minute to waste this morning, so, after an early breakfast, head to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon and prepare to be awed! You will travel along South Rim for a few miles leaving the Grand Canyon National Park at the East Entrance before heading to Monument Valley in Navajo Country. You’ll enjoy an authentic Navajo lunch before firing up your bike again to travel through iconic Wild West landscape – the exact same scenery you’ve seen in the movies! Tonight you will overnight in Kayenta.

Start the day at sleepy Mexican Hat, once a frenzied gold-mining camp, then you'll fire on through the ‘Valley of the Gods’ where much of ‘Thelma and Louise’ was filmed before crossing the Colorado River at the exact point it pours into massive Lake Powell. Then we'll ride along the southern tip of Capital Reef National Park and into Glen Canyon National Recreation Area before roaring up the aptly named Devil’s Backbone through the Escalante Wilderness en-route to Bryce Canyon.

Today you'll spend the majority of the morning winding through Bryce Canyon stopping en-route to marvel at its multi-hued sandstone spires and pinnacles. Afterward, Zion National Park awaits which, as well as boasting the most amazing scenery, offers a rewarding ride through a daring series of switchbacks. From Zion it’s a short haul over to Las Vegas, your home base for the next 2 nights. Aside from flirting with Lady Luck, you may like to check out the dazzling 'Fremont Street Experience' or take a gondola ride along one of the Venetian Hotel’s canals. Other attractions include the Imperial Palace Auto Collection which houses some of the world’s finest automobiles or for the thrill seekers in the group, you can ride the Big Shot at the Stratosphere Hotel, launching you 160 feet into the air in 2.5 seconds!

Wave goodbye to Las Vegas as you head towards Death Valley – the hottest place on earth! After riding through the National Park which is almost entirely devoid of shade, you’ll welcome a lunch stop at the Furnace Creek Ranch en-route. Once refreshed, you'll wind your way down a series of mountain curves, taking you hundreds of feet below sea level into the basin of Death Valley before continuing west through Sequoia National Park to Mammoth Lake.

Your ride today takes you through the infamous Tioga Pass in the Sierra Nevada Mountains to reach the edge of Yosemite National Park. Considered by many to be the mother of all national parks, Yosemite boasts winding granite canyons which you will get to explore on your ride today before overnighting right outside of the park.

Spend the morning admiring as many sights as possible in Yosemite like– Yosemite Falls, the 5th largest waterfall in the world or the massive granite monolith, El Capitan – before crossing the San Rafael Bridge into Marin County. This is a wonderful introduction into California with its abundant and beautiful scenery to enjoy from white sandy beaches to treacherously high mountains. You will stop for lunch at the quaint seaside town Sausalito then cross the Golden Gate Bridge into the heart of San Francisco which will be your base for 2 nights. There are several optional excursions to tempt you during your stay in San Francisco including a trip to Alcatraz, a Bay Cruise or a Napa Valley Wine Tour. Alternatively, you're welcome to take it easy and simply discover this unique European-style city for yourself.

San Francisco – MontereySan Francisco – Monterey

You’re in for a treat today, cruising along Highway 1 which is noted as one of the best motorcycle roads in the world! With the Pacific Ocean to your right, the scenery is simply breathtaking with dramatic coves and inlets to admire en-route to Monterey, your home base for the night. Explore the world famous Laguna Seca Racetrack perhaps or the spectacular Monterey Bay Aquarium overlooking the break-taking California coast.

Monterey – Pismo BeachMonterey – Pismo Beach

1 night’s accommodation at The Sandcastle Inn.
Today you'll  continue along Highway 1 riding through Big Sur, the 90 mile stretch of wild and ragged landscape where the Santa Lucia Mountains meet the Pacific Ocean. You’ll pass the coastal towns of San Simeon, Cambria and Morro Bay before reaching lovely Pismo Beach.

On you final day of riding you'll cruise inland along the back roads of Southern California before rejoining Highway 101 at Santa Barbara. From here, it’s onto Santa Monica Beach, home of the world famous Santa Monica Pier, Third Street Promenade and of course the beautiful white sandy beach that you've grown to love after these few days of riding. After spending some time getting wrapped up in the kicked back free spirit of these great beach town, you'll head back to Hawthorne to drop your bike and be transferred to your hotel for your final night in Tinsel Town. You'll share one final meal together at the hosted Farewell Dinner this evening before it’s time to return home with many treasured memories to accompany you!

Insurance is NOT included and will need to be payable locally. Aproximate costs as follows; SLI (Supplemental Liability Insurance) $8.50 per day. SLI insurance protects renter against claims made by a third party for bodily injury and/or property damage sustained as a result of an accident. Rental Supplemental Liability Insurance Benefit up to $1,000,000.00. PAI/PEC (Personal Accident Insurance/Personal Effects Coverage): $3.50 per day. Insurance covers Accidental death benefit for renter ($1,000,000) and passenger ($10,000). Accidental medical expense benefit for renter and immediate family travelling with renter up to $1,000 of 24hr accidental medical expenses within one year. Personal effects coverage for up to $525.00 Contract rental location for a detailed description of coverage. Tour rate in NOT inclusive of transfer between hotel and airport.
