Often described as 'the river that never finds the sea', the
Okavango Delta is Africa's largest and most beautiful oasis.
Here, the Kalahari Desert thirst is quenched in a blue/green
wilderness of life-giving water, strewn with emerald reed
beds and towering trees. This incredible natural wonder is
home to an almost unparalleled diversity of animal and bird
life. Scattered amongst the maze of lagoons, channels and
islands are wallowing hippos, swamp antelopes and crocodiles
basking on the sands, while a profusion of wetland birds
enjoy the abundance of fish and other small creatures that
the Delta supports.
One of the highlights of your stay here is often the transfer flight
between accommodations, which provides visitors with astonishing
aerial views of this incredible landscape.
A number of lodges and camps have been established in and around
this watery wilderness, offering everything from sumptuous lodge
accommodation to luxury tented camps, where visitors can immerse
themselves in the sights and sounds of Africa at its best.

Delta it may be necessary to offer alternative lodges of a similar
