There's diving too, and from the prehistoric rainforest of Praslin's National Park to the 70 beaches of Mahé, all is beauty and calm. You could take an excursion to Mahé's capital, Victoria, to admire its colonial mansions and meet the giant tortoises at the botanical gardens. You can visit tiny islands such as beautiful La Digue, perhaps joining local fishermen in their boat for a day's angling in the abundant waters. But mainly, you'll simply be lying back on a lounger and sighing in blissful contentment.

Islands of the SeychellesIslands of the Seychelles

Mahé: Only 17 miles long and 5 miles wide, Mahé is a tiny slice of Paradise! The largest of the Seychelles, it boasts beautiful beaches including the very popular Beau Vallon, a lush, verdant interior and some truly great restaurants. Snorkelling and diving are popular pastimes, or soak up the bustling atmosphere of Victoria, the island’s capital.
La Digue: Guarded by azure waters and fringed with coral reefs, La Digue basks in ageless tranquillity. As well as beautiful beaches and spectacular coves, the people are some of the friendliest you’ll ever meet and cars are shunned in favour of bikes and ox-carts. Spend your days soaking up the sun, feasting on tropical dishes and simply admiring the breathtaking scenery that surrounds you.
Praslin: The second largest island in the Seychelles, Praslin is framed with beautiful secluded beaches, including the exquisite Anse Lazio. Despite being home to several exclusive resorts, it’s as close to the Garden of Eden as you can get with exotic flora and fauna in abundance, glimpses of some of the world’s rarest birds and crystal clear waters.
