Virgin Holidays View
Formerly known as Kani Lanka, this resort is ensconced amid 22 acres of coconut groves, poised between ocean and river. The Avani Kalutara is a peaceful and laid-back resort. All of the rooms boast great views, either across the courtyard, river or through the coconut palms over the ocean. By day you can relax by the glittering infinity swimming pool or on the spectacular stretch of beach; then again why not take a gentle boat trip up the river on one of the fascinating tours on offer.
