Hotel information
Named after Elsa the lioness made world famous by George and Joy Adamson in the film Born Free, it was here, in the wilds of Meru, she was set free.
The lodge is on the site of the Adamson’s original camp and besides lions you will spot all
manner of species, including
leopard, cheetah, black rhino and giraffe. Cottages are luxuriously appointed, the infinity pool boasts
stunning views and at night,
gourmet cuisine with an Italian twist is served in the dining room by your own private butler!

Each lodge is attended by a butler who also waits on guests at mealtimes. Open bar, dining room and swimming pool. Activities
include game drives in 4x4 safari vehicles, guided walks, bush breakfasts and sundowners, and visits to a Tharaka tribal village.
