Porini Mara Camp: In the most spectacular location, the locally-owned Porini Mara Camp has just 6 luxury en-suite tents, promoting an unforgettable bush experience. Morning, afternoon and night game drives are on the agenda as well as walks with local guides and sunset drives to local beauty spots. The only camp in the Mara with an exclusive 9000 acre wildlife conservancy reserved for their guests, with all the big game, including over 20 lions.
Porini Camps offer the chance to escape from the crowds and experience the Africa wilderness without the presence of other tourist vehicles. The tented camps are operated and managed by the local Masai communities with the objective of creating income and providing benefits for local people. They run on environmentally sound principles and are specially designed to have minimum impact, with no permanent structures and solar power.
Where is it?
In the exclusive wildlife conservancy of Ol Kinyei, one of the most beautiful wilderness areas in the Serengeti-Mara eco-system. The Masai Mara park boundary is less than 18 km away. Transfer time from airstrip: 45 min.
Facilities
Camp chef for meals around the camp fire or in the dining room, bar. Picnic lunches provided. Morning, afternoon and night game drives in a 4x4 vehicles, guided walks, sundowners at scenic viewing points.

6 spacious tents. All with en-suite bathroom and solar electric lights. Tents with a double and single bed, sleeping max 3 adults or 2 adults and 1 child.

All camps close Apr-May for refurbishment.
