Porini Rhino Camp: The latest addition to Porini Camps, in the Ol Pejeta Conservancy, with an area of almost 90,000 acres it is the largest Black Rhino conservancy in East Africa with over 70 rhinos and 30 white rhinos in residence. A sustainable tourism project, the camp is built using no permanent structures to ensure that when the camp is removed, no visible signs of the camp or people will remain. Every guest is guaranteed a personal travel experience, an opportunity to help protect Africa’s wildlife ecosystems and cultures, and the chance to view the ‘Big Five’ – rhino, leopard, elephant, buffalo and lion, as well as rescued chimpanzees.
Porini Camps offer the chance to escape from the crowds and experience the Africa wilderness without the presence of other tourist vehicles.
