Nairobi excursions

Daily 2.00pm - approx 4 hours
An opportunity to see highlights of our 'Green City in the Sun'. Our tour visits the National Museum, Kenya's famous snake park and a visit to the house of famous novelist Karen Blixen, immortalised in the film Out of Africa, which is now a museum. you will also see the parliament buildings, Kenyatta Conference Centre and many of Nairobi's historical buildings.

Half day
Within 30-min drive of the city centre. At the park entrance, we stop to visit the animal orphanage. Continue into the park for a half-day game drive where we hope to see black rhino, lion, cheetah, leopard, buffalo, hippo, ostrich and many types of antelope.

Daily 9.00am - approx 3 hours
Drive towards the Ngong Hills and through the residential area of Langata to Giraffe Centre, where the offspring of Daisy (the famous Rothschild giraffe) can be seen and fed. Continue to Daphne Sheldrick orphanage and watch orphaned elephant and rhino at the baths, and hear from keepers how they have been rescued, raised and their plans to release them back into the wild.

Daily lunch or dinner 12.30pm or 7.00pm
The Carnivore is a unique experience. Enjoy lunch or dinner at this popular restaurant, where you can sample a wide range of succulent and barbequed meats carved at your table. These include crocodile, wild game, legs of lamb and pork, haunches of venison, steaks, spare ribs, chicken wings, kidney and every type of imaginable meats.
