The recently refurbished Protea Hotel President offers guests a friendly atmosphere and relaxed ambiance. The contemporary and classic design of the hotel mirrors perfectly the laid back lifestyle of Cape Town where lazy afternoons can be spent reclining by the palm-fringed pool, looking out over the Atlantic Ocean. The restaurants in the hotel are also strongly recommended, the Islands Restaurant serves local cuisine and is home to varied seasonal entertainment in the evenings, creating a great atmosphere. Situated in a great location for those who want to venture out, Bantry Bay is great for local eateries but the President is also excellently located in the city half way between the famous V&A Waterfront and the first class beaches and eateries of Clifton and Camps Bay.

Standard Rooms have 1 double bed, or 2 single beds and a sleeper sofa sleeping max 2 adults and 2 children. Sea-Facing Rooms have exactly the same facilities as above but face the sea. 1- and 2-Bedroom Suites (mountain and sea-facing available) are larger with separate living room.
