Hotel information

Built in 1896, it was Hermanus' first hotel, and hence bagged the best location, on the cliffside overlooking the Indian Ocean. Over half of the hotel's rooms face the sea, allowing you to enjoy a bit of whale watching without even going outside.
Run by the friendly Clark-Browns, the hotel has a pub and airy breakfast room. There are some great walks along the cliffs, and the Fernkloof Nature Reserve is an easy drive.
Where is it?
On the cliffside in Hermanus, a walk to the beaches and the town's amenities. Cape Town airport is a scenic 1 hour 10-min drive, with the city centre a further 20-min drive.
