This original farmhouse has been recently renovated and reopened as Gazebo Game Lodge, the newest addition to the Kwa Madwala reserve. The Game Reserve is a 4000 hectare conservancy boasting lion, elephant, rhino, leopard and a wide variety of other game, perfect for a first-time safari. Activities at this comfortable but simple lodge include morning and night game drives, exciting bush walks and bush braais (barbeques) under the stars. In between game drives you can relax by the pool which is ideally set overlooking the waterhole offering a great place to watch the wildlife. For a unique game viewing experience why not try an elephant-back safari through the bush?
Where is it?
This private game reserve is just outside the Kruger National Park, to the south. Approx a 6-7 hour drive from Johannesburg or 1 hour from Kruger Mpumalanga airport.
Facilities
Gazebo Game Lodge: swimming pool, bar and lounge, dining room and BOMA (outside barbeque area). Every alternate breakfast will be a bush breakfast and alternate dinners will be a traditional BOMA experience.

11 rooms are comfortable yet tastefully furnished and offer great value for money. All rooms are air-conditioned and have separate shower and bath and sleep max 2 adults and 1 child. Please note that children 0-6 years old are not permitted in the Kruger National Park in open 4x4 vehicles.
