Explore the famous markets and numerous watery attractions. Visit the aquarium and botanical gardens, check out the snake park and sample a 'Durbs' curry. Other coastal resorts include charming Scottburgh and tropical Zimbali. Inland are the 'Midlands' of Drakensberg where you can pursue outdoor activities, see South Africa's 2nd highest waterfall, view the cave paintings of the Bushmen and traverse colossal mountain passes.

The best way to get to KwaZulu Natal is either by car from Johannesburg or take an internal flight to Durban and collect your hire car from there. Internal flights from Johannesburg to Durban available from 50 per person each way.
