Best time to visit
- Tanzania offers excellent game viewing all year round. The great migration takes place from Apr-Jun and Oct-Dec.
- In the green season (Apr-Jun and late Nov-Dec) there are low numbers of tourists, thus more exclusive, and the rains do not hinder game viewing.
- The dry seasons are generally better for game viewing when the game concentrates around the water sources.
- Birding is excellent year round, but the south is best at the height of the northern winter.
