Separated from mainland Australia by the Bass Strait, Tasmania is a magical and wonderful place. Its World Heritage areas take up a third of the island and the national parks are magnificent places to view the native animals in their natural habitat. After dark, you may even glimpse the famous Tasmanian devil!

- Take a cruise from Strahan's Macquarie Harbour along the Gordon River, viewing Hells Gate, salmon farms and Sarah Island.
- Visit Port Arthur and take a 1 hour 30-min, lantern-lit evening 'ghost tour' around the historic site.
