The Centara is a modern mid-rise resort backed by emerald green hills and with some rooms overlooking beautiful Karon Beach. Accommodation is divided between 4 residential zones - the terraces, the lagoon, the tropicale and the cabanas – with all rooms decorated in contemporary Thai style and very comfortable indeed. There are also 3 pools to splash about in and a sports centre for the active.
Where is it?
A short walk from Karon Beach, a 4 km stretch of dazzling white sand, considered by some to be the finest in Phuket. Phuket Town is 9½ miles away although shops, bars and restaurants can be found within walking distance. Transfer time from Phuket airport: 45 min.

The Lagoon area, ideal for families, has Deluxe rooms with either 2 double beds, sleeping max 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children or 1-king size bed sleeping max 3 adults or 2 adults and 1 child. The Lagoon Deluxe Family Studio has 2 double beds, sleeping max 4 adults or 2 adults and 2 children. Tropicale Premium Deluxe rooms have either twin beds, 1- king size bed, sleeping max 3 adults or 2 adults and 1 child or two double beds, sleeping max 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children. Tropicale Premium Deluxe 2-Bedroom accommodations have 1 - king-size bed and 1 twin room sleeping either 5 adults, 3 adults and 2 children or 2 adults and 3 children, (Rollaway bed for 5th person).
