Exclusive to Virgin Holidays in the UK, this brand new resort opens its doors in Nov 08. Distinctly Arabesque in style, the design is sumptuously magical with rich, earthy colours, romantically dimmed lanterns and exotic furnishings.
It also boasts an unrivalled location in a private bay offering 800 metres of beautiful sandy beach with a spectacular mountain backdrop. For those in need of pampering, there are fantastic spa facilities including a traditional Turkish Hammam bath and 9 treatment rooms in which all manner of therapeutic treatments are administered. There are also 3 wonderful free-form swimming pools to laze by, a fully equipped fitness centre and water sports in abundance. If you feel like exploring, there are dune safaris to tempt you and trips to the breathtaking Musandam Fjords in a traditional Dhow boat. Guests will also have full access to all the facilities at neighbouring Hilton Ras Al Khaimah Villas, including an additional 2 pools.
Where is it?
At the tip of the Arabian Peninsula in Ras Al Khaimah, the resort is set on an 800 metre stretch of white sandy beach. The old town is 5 minutes away. Transfer time from Dubai airport:1 hour 15 min.

325 sea facing rooms. All with air-conditioning, LCD flat-screen TV, phone, tea/coffee maker, mini-bar, safe, alarm clock radio, hairdryer, iron and board. Rooms with double bed and sleeper sofa, sleeping max 3 adults, or 2 adults and 2 children. Garden terrace rooms are on the ground floor, have a terrace and access to the pool and gardens. Deluxe sea view rooms are on higher floors with a balcony and are available at a supplement. Family garden view and deluxe family sea view rooms are also available at a supplement, are slightly larger, sleeping max 4 adults or 2 adults and 3 children.
Additional information
The all inclusive option includes buffet breakfast, lunch & dinner at the Maareed Restaurant, or lunch snacks at Al Bahar beach club. All drinks (including premium brands) at the pool bar, BN Café, The Dome Lounge and esprit bar from 12 noon until midnight. All activities and land sports unless otherwise stated. If dining in any other restaurants in the resort or at the villas a credit of DHS70 per adult is given locally. (Room service and minibar are not included and payable locally).
