72km northeast of Gladstone. Transfer time from Gladstone airport: 2 hours 25 min by road and boat.
Facilities
Swimming pool. Aqua Soul Spa. Shearwater Restaurant, Pandanus Lounge and Bailies Bar overlooking the reef. Guided reef walks, island ecology walks, stargazing, snorkelling, floodlit tennis, film screening and birdwatching. Scuba-diving (including lessons), semi-submersible coral viewing cruises, fishing trips and helicopter flights (all at an extra charge).

109 rooms, all with ceiling fan, tea/coffee maker, fridge, iron and board, and hairdryer. Please note, guest rooms do not have TVs and telephones. Turtle Rooms are located in a garden setting a short walk away from the beach with a balcony or patio. Reef Suites are closer to the beach. Heron Beachside Suites are larger with a separate living area and mini-bar, and are situated on the beachfront. Beach House and Point Suites are larger and have air-conditioning, CD player and mini-bar. All rooms sleep max 3 adults, or 2 adults and 1 child.
