Cabin Information
All cabins include private bathroom with shower and WC, air-conditioning, satellite TV, music, telephone, mini-bar, safe and hairdryer. Ironing in the cabins is strictly prohibited for safety reasons.
2008 Itinerary
Day 1: London Dubai
Fly overnight from London Heathrow to Dubai with Virgin Atlantic.
Day 2: Dubai
Settle on to your Costa cruise ship in the port of Dubai, for your first night on board with time at leisure to explore or relax.
Day 3: Dubai
Set sail at 1.00pm and explore the excellent on-board facilities.
Day 4: Muscat (Oman)
Arrive into Muscat at 9.00am. Perhaps enjoy an optional excursion (payable on board) watching dolphins from a speedboat at Marina Bander. Set sail at 7.00pm.
Day 5: Fujairah (United Arab Emirates)
Arrive into Fujairah at 7.30am. Spend the day at leisure admiring the beautiful beaches backed by mountains. Set sail at 4.00pm.
Day 6: Abu Dhabi (United Arab Emirates)
Arrive into Abu Dhabi at 9.00am. Why not take a city tour (payable on board) including the spectacular Corniche and Heritage Village? Set sail at 6.00pm.
Day 7: Bahrain
Arrive into Bahrain at 9.00am. An optional cultural excursion (payable on board) includes a visit to the Al Fateh Mosque, the largest in Bahrain. Set sail at 6.00pm.
Day 8: Dubai
Arrive back to Dubai at 1.00pm for your last night on board. Enjoy time at leisure.
Day 9: Dubai London
Disembark your Costa cruise ship, ready for your flight back to London Heathrow with Virgin Atlantic.
Cruise and Stay Options
Dubai is one of the most diverse and exclusive cities in the world, with its mosques and shopping centres, sea and desert. Extend your stay by adding on nights at any of the hotels featured in the brochure. We have twinned the cruises with a city hotel the Rimal Rotana Suites for 5 nights, but if you would rather be on the beach, no problem, well work out the difference in the extra nights rate between the Rimal Rotana Suites and your chosen hotel.
Costa Romantica and Costa Europa Service Charge
Service charge is payable on board at the end of the cruise and cannot be pre-paid. Current charge is £42 per adult, £21 per child 14-17 years, and no charge for children under 14 years.
