Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Bangkok – Chiang Mai
Pick-up from your hotel in Bangkok City (pick up from outer Bangkok hotels or airport will be subject to supplement charges) to Bangkok Domestic Airport for the morning flight to Chiang Mai. Arrival in Chiang Mai and transfer to the hotel. Afternoon, explore the city, outstanding landmarks and temples of Wat Suan Dok, Wat Phra Sing, Wat Chedi Luang, Wat Ched Yod and Wat Chiang Man. Overnight at the Chiang Mai Plaza. (L/D)
Day 2: Chiang Mai
See the sacred temple of Wat Phra That Doi Suthep situated on the mountains and where the muchrevered Buddhist relic is contained. Admire myriad of exquisitely-made handicrafts at the Thai Home Industry villages of Bo Sang and San Kamphaeng. Savor a delectable Northern Thai Khantoke Dinner accompanied by traditional shows and performances of the hill tribes villagers. Overnight at the hotel. (B/L)
Day 3: Chiang Mai – Chiang Rai
Meet the robust yet gentle Thai Elephants at the Elephant Training Camp. After lunch, board on a long tail boat to Chiang Rai passing along the way local villages of Muser and Karen hill tribes. Later in the afternoon, cruise back to Chiang Rai boat landing which is a just a short transfer to your hotel the Wiang Inn Hotel, where you will stay overnight. (B/L)
Day 4: Chiang Rai
After breakfast, check out before exploring local villages of Yao and Akha hill tribes, the small trading town of Mae Sai, the ancient Chiang Saen city and the exact spot where Thailand, Laos and Myanmar meet, known as the Golden Triangle. Lunch at the Imperial Golden Triangle Resort then transfer back to Chiang Rai Airport, where your included itinerary finishes. (B/L))
