Days 1-2: London – Delhi
Fly overnight with Virgin Atlantic from Heathrow to Delhi. On arrival transfer to the
Park Hotel (STD) or the
Taj Palace (SUP) for 2 nights (B). The rest of the day is at leisure.
Day 3: Delhi
Explore Delhi, a city rich in culture and architecture. Old Delhi boasts the spectacular Red Fort, Jama Masjid and the Raj Ghat where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated. In New Delhi, you’ll find the Presidential Palace, India Gate and Qutab Minar.
Day 4: Delhi - Agra
Set out for Agra (approx 5 hours). En route is a visit to Sikandra, the tomb of Emperor Akbar. Check into hotel and spend the afternoon sightseeing. Agra is home to the Taj Mahal, one of the Seven Wonders of the World and possibly the world's greatest building. You will also visit Agra Fort and Itmad-ud-Daulah, sometimes known as Baby Taj. Overnight at the
Mansingh (STD) or

Day 5: Agra - Ranthambore
Set out early for the 7-hour journey to Ranthambore National Park, stopping en route at Fatehpur Sikri, an epic red sandstone city. Overnight at
Ranthambore Regency (STD) or
Taj Sawai Madhopur Lodge (SUP) for 2 nights. (B/D)
Day 6: Ranthambore
Jungle safari exploring Ranthambore. In addition to tigers, there are wild boars, spotted deer, Indian gazelle, crocodile and leopard to look out for, as well as nearly 200 species of bird, a 1,000-year-old abandoned fortress and turquoise lakes. Game drives in open-top vehicles are scheduled for early morning and late-afternoon around the National Park. (B/L/D)
Day 7: Ranthambore - Jaipur
Another early morning game-drive to spot wildlife before departing for Jaipur (approx 4-hours). Jaipur is known as the Pink City because of its numerous streets lined with pink-painted shop fronts and old buildings. Overnight at the
Mansingh Hotel (STD) or
Jai Mahal (SUP) for 3 nights. (B)
Days 8-9: Jaipur
On day 8 take a morning Tour of the Amber Fort where you may be able to take an elephant ride if you’re up early enough! In the afternoon, visit the Observatory and City Palace which boasts courtyards, impressive gateways and temples. On day 9 enjoy a full day at leisure. (B)
Day 10: Jaipur - Udaipur
Transfer to the airport for your short flight to Udaipur, one of the most romantic cities in Rajasthan. Afternoon at leisure. Overnight at the
Trident (STD) or the
Lake Palace (SUP) for 2 nights. (B)
Day 11: Udaipur
A morning tour of the city takes in the City Palace - one of the largest palaces in Rajasthan which overlooks Lake Pichola. Afternoon free to explore. In the evening, take a boat trip on Lake Pichola (subject to water levels). (B)
Day 12: Udaipur - Mumbai
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Mumbai. A city that never sleeps, it is vibrant and exciting with plenty of bars and restaurants, as well as cultural delights. Overnight at the
Trident Nariman Point (STD) or the
Taj Mahal Tower Wing (SUP) for 3 nights (B).
Day 13: Mumbai
Travel to Elephanta Island by boat (1 hour from Mumbai). The Elephanta Cave temples were excavated between the 5th and 8th Centuries and are famous for their magnificently sculpted panels. In the afternoon, explore Mumbai, visiting the Hanging Gardens, Mani Bhavan (museum and former residence of Mahatma Ghandi) and Dhobi Ghat – the popular open air laundry! Drive past the fashionable Marine Drive area and monuments built during the British era. Photo stop at the Gateway of India. (B)
Day 14: Mumbai
Experience the glitz and glamour, the action and excitement on a Bollywood tour! Visit a film studio with specially designed sets, film memorabilia and equipment. You also get to see film scenes being edited by the director and witness a real-time film or television shoot! (B/L) Guests may wish to spend a day at leisure instead.
Day 15: Mumbai - London
Transfer back to Mumbai airport for your flight to London via Delhi. (B)
