The Tour
13 days/12 nights - Thailand has so much more to offer than just fabulous beaches. So why not take the opportunity to combine the exciting city of Bangkok and the stunning Golden Triangle in the north with a relaxing beach stay in the ever-popular island of Phuket?
Day 1: London - Bangkok
Fly overnight from London Heathrow to Bangkok with Thai Airways International.
Day 2: Bangkok
On arrival into Bangkok, you will transfer to your hotel for 3 nights, room only (Standard option - Bel-Aire Princess. Superior option - Holiday Inn Bangkok).
Days 3-4: Bangkok
Enjoy 2 full days in this fantastic city. On day 3, enjoy an evening of Thai dinner and dance, and on day 4 a half-day afternoon city and temples tour has been included.
Day 5: Bangkok - Chiang Rai
Transfer to the airport this morning for your Thai Airways International flight to Chiang Rai. Transfer to your accommodation (Standard option - Dusit Island Resort, Chiang Rai. Superior option - Anantara Resort Golden Triangle for 2 nights). The rest of the afternoon is free to relax and enjoy your afternoon at leisure.
Day 6: Golden Triangle
Enjoy a full-day excursion around the stunning Golden Triangle including visits to Chiang Saen and Mae Sai, and the Akha and Yao hilltribe villages.
Day 7: Golden Triangle - Chiang Mai
This morning you will be transferred by road to Chiang Mai. The 3- to 4-hour journey will include a stop at the Hot Springs. On arrival, check in to your hotel for 2 nights (Standard option - Royal Princess. Superior option - Holiday Inn Chiang Mai). The rest of the day is at leisure. A visit to the Night Bazaar is a must!
Day 8: Chiang Mai
A full-day excursion is included today. Visit the Mae Ping Elephant Orphanage, take a bamboo-rafting trip along Ping River and visit Lisa Village.
Day 9: Chiang Mai - Phuket
This morning you will be transferred to Chiang Mai airport for your short flight to Phuket. On arrival, transfer to your hotel for a 5-night relaxing beach stay. (Standard option - Hilton Phuket Arcadia Resort & Spa, room only. Superior option - Merlin Beach Resort, bed and breakfast.)
Days 10-13: Phuket
Enjoy 4 full days at leisure. For the more adventurous, we have a fantastic selection of excursions that include a full-day cruise to Phang Nga Bay, a half-day elephant hill trek and an evening show at Phuket Fantasea.
Day 14: Phuket - London
Spend a few last hours in the sun before transferring to the airport for your overnight flight back to London Heathrow with Thai Airways International, via Bangkok.
