No visit to Bali would be complete without experiencing the rich culture and the stunning interior of this beautiful island. Combine a cultural 4-night tour with a stop in the ultra-modern city of Singapore and a relaxing 7-night stay at the beach.
Day 1: London - Singapore
Fly overnight from London Heathrow or Manchester to Singapore with Singapore Airlines.
Days 2-4: Singapore
On arrival in to Singapore, you will be met and transferred to the Copthorne King's Hotel for 3 nights, room only. Enjoy time at leisure to explore this fascinating, modern city. You may wish to pre-book one or more of our excursions, including a half-day city tour or a night safari with dinner. (RO)
Day 5: Singapore - Bali
Transfer this morning to Singapore airport for your flight to Bali with Singapore Airlines. On arrival into Bali, you will be met and transferred to the Champlung Sari Hotel in Ubud for 2 nights, bed and breakfast. The rest of the day is at leisure to enjoy this stunning region. (RO)
Day 6: Ubud
After breakfast, depart the hotel for a full-day tour around Ubud. First stop is the village of Batubulan which is famous for its stone carving. Proceed to see the Barong Dance performance and then continue to Celuk, the centre of exquisite silver and gold works. Then return to Ubud, the cultural heart of Bali with many fine art galleries and home to a score of local and foreign painters. Visit the Agung Rai Museum of Art and stroll around the Ubud market. Day 7: Candi Dasa
Enjoy a morning at leisure and after lunch (own expense), depart to Candi Dasa. Visit Klungkung, Kerta Gosa and then continue to Kusamba, a fishing village. Visit the Goa Lawah (Bat Cave) and an original Bali Aga village. Overnight at the Puri Bagus Candi Dasa, bed and breakfast. (B)
Day 8: Lovina
After breakfast, travel north to Tirta Ganggaa and stop to visit Taman Tirta Ganggaa, an original Water Palace. Continue across the volcanic range to the northwestern part of the island, passing through the villages of Bebandem and Selat. Visit the temple Besakih, a complex of nearly 24 temples which house ancestral shrines. Enjoy breathtaking views of the Crater Lake Batur before arriving in Lovina. Overnight at the Puri Bagus Lovina, bed and breakfast. (B)
Day 9: Lovina - Seminyak
After breakfast this morning, there will be an optional early dolphin-spotting trip out on the Java Sea. After leaving Lovina, stop at the hot springs of Banjar and the Buddhist Monastery. Travel south via the stunning Pupuan Road and arrive at the Griya Santrian around lunchtime. Check in for your 7-night stay, room only. (B)
Days 10-15: Seminyak - by the beach!
After a few days sightseeing you will have earned a relaxing stay at this beautiful hotel. Enjoy 6 full days at leisure. For those wishing to explore further, please see our wide range of half-day and full-day excursions. (RO)
Day 16: Bali - London
Transfer to the airport today for your overnight flight back to London Heathrow or Manchester with Singapore Airlines, via Singapore.
