Description
Day 1: Sunset at Uluru (Ayers Rock)
On arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel for 2 nights: Superior - Voyages Desert Gardens Hotel; Deluxe - Voyages Sails in the Desert Hotel. Late afternoon, travel to the Uluru sunset viewing area. Enjoy nibbles and a glass of wine as the sun sets and see the many shades of colour that Uluru is famous for. After sunset, return to your hotel. (RO)
Day 2: Uluru Sunrise and Sounds of Silence Dinner
Rise early and join the Uluru Sunrise and Guided Cultural Walk Tour. Watch the sunrise at Uluru, visit Mutitjulu Waterhole and Uluru-Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre and take a guided walk at the base of Uluru. In the evening, dine under the stars at the award-winning Sounds of Silence Dinner. Enjoy a gourmet buffet with fine Australian wines, then sit back and relax as an astronomer takes you on a tour of the southern night skies (weather permitting). (D)
Day 3: Kata Tjuta and Valley of the Winds Walk
Rise early and travel to Kata Tjuta. Your driver/guide will explain the geological history of the giant domes and take you on a 2 to 3-hour guided walk. The walking path is rocky and requires a good level of fitness! Take photos at the Valley of the Winds lookout or simply enjoy the views. Transfer back to Ayers Rock Resort where your tour concludes at 12 noon (flight to depart after 1.30pm). (RO)
