Day 1: London - Johannesburg
Fly overnight from London via Johannesburg with Virgin Atlantic and onwards to Maun.
Day 2: Okavango Delta
On arrival, you'll be met and transferred by light aircraft to Nxabega airstrip and your campsite on the edge of the Okavango Delta - the largest inland delta on earth! There's time to settle in before exploring your surrounds, taking a ride perhaps by mekoro (dug-out canoe) along crystal-clear channels or enjoying a guided bush walk. Dinner is served around the campfire. Overnight: Okavango campsite. (B/L/D)
Day 3: Okavango Delta
It's another full day in the delta to marvel at the myriad species of animals that live here. Birdwatching is another popular pastime - 349 species have been recorded, including African jacana, malachite, kingfisher and open-billed stork. Enjoy a sundowner before dinner, served once again under the stars. Overnight: Okavango campsite. (B/L/D)
Days 4-5: Moremi Game Reserve
Time to say goodbye to the beautiful Okavango Delta and head by light aircraft to Khwai - the north gate region of the Moremi Game Reserve. Set aside in 1963 by the Batawana tribe, the reserve is rated as Africa's most beautiful wildlife sanctuary and packed with wildlife. Relax during the evening at your fully serviced campsite, your base for the next 2 nights. Overnight: Moremi Game Reserve campsite. (B/L/D)
Days 6-7: Chobe National Park, Savute
The next 2 nights will be spent in tented accommodation beside the dry Savute Channel in Chobe National Park. The second largest national park in Botswana, it is unique in that it consists of 4 distinct ecosystems. It is also home to the largest concentration of elephants on earth, which also happen to be the largest in body size! Settle in before enjoying an evening game drive. Day 8: Chobe National Park, Serondela
Head to the north of Chobe National Park today for Serondela, the heart of elephant country. Spend many happy hours watching the huge herds in and around the waters of the Chobe River. Overnight: Serondela campsite. (B/L/D)
Day 9: Chobe National Park, Serondela
Enjoy a sunset boat cruise on the river today, perhaps marvelling at hippo, crocodile and buffalo. The setting sun forms a magnificent backdrop to herds of elephant, their silhouettes an awesome sight. Overnight: Serondela campsite. (B/L/D)
Day 10: Victoria Falls
Drive from Chobe National Park to Victoria Falls in Zambia for a tour of this incredible natural wonder. Afterwards, relax at your hotel with a cold drink, reminiscing on all you've seen and done over the last few days. Overnight: Zambezi Sun (B).
Day 11: Victoria Falls - London
Fly back to Johannesburg to connect with the Virgin Atlantic flight to London Heathrow.
