Description
Day 1: Alice Springs - Uluru
Depart Alice Springs at 6.30am and visit a camel farm, with an optional ride (extra cost). View Mount Conner before lunching at Ayers Rock Campground, where you will stay the night. Drive to see the rocky domes of Kata Tjuta, enjoying a guided walk. Then visit Uluru at sunset before enjoying a traditional Aussie dinner at camp. Overnight at Ayers Rock Resort, permanent campsite, sleeping on a comfortable bed in a spacious tent, or under starry skies. (L/D)
Day 2: Uluru - Kings Creek
See Uluru at sunrise for breathtaking views. Tour the rock's base, discover Aboriginal rock art or join an optional 30-min scenic flight over the area (extra cost). After lunch, depart for Kings Creek cattle and camel station, where you spend the night in a private camp at Kings Creek, permanent campsite. (B/L/D)
Day 3: Kings Creek - Kings Canyon - Alice Springs
This morning you journey to Watarrka National Park, home to Kings Canyon. Hike to the rim for stunning views, or wander through the lush valley below. Return to Kings Creek Station for lunch, before travelling back to Alice Springs where your adventure ends at approx 6.30pm. (B/L)
