Day 1: Arrive Chengdu
You will be picked up from Chengdu airport and transferred to the
Minshan Hotel for the next 2 nights in a Deluxe Room. (RO)
Day 2: Chengdu sightseeing
After breakfast, embark on a day of sightseeing around Chengdu. Visit the Dijiangyan Irrigation System, located approx 50 miles outside Chengdu in a World Heritage area. It was built over 2,200 years ago and was erected on the Minjiang River at the foot of Yulei Mountain, providing stunning scenery. Return to Chengdu and visit the Marquis Wu Shrine, then on to ancient Jinli Cultural Street to take in the ambient surroundings and explore the many curio shops, before stopping at a local tea house. Day 3: Panda Breeding Centre – depart Chengdu
After breakfast, visit the Panda Breeding and Research Centre to view these lovable creatures. The Centre covers an area of 92 acres and also houses over 20 species of rare animals, including the South China tiger and the golden monkey. After lunch, you will be transferred back to Chengdu airport for your onward flight. (B/L)
