Description
Day 1: Sydney - Hunter Valley
Depart Sydney, and cross Sydney Harbour Bridge en route to the Hunter Valley wine-producing region. Enjoy morning tea at Wollombi and private wine tasting at the world-famous Lindemans. Visit the home of Bluetongue beer, followed by an Introduction to Wine Appreciation course. See how wine is made with a walking tour of the vineyards and winery. Enjoy a smorgasbord of tasting platters for lunch, whilst a cellar master shows how each dish marries with certain wines. You will then be taken to the Hunter Resort, Hunter Valley for your overnight stay. (L)
Day 2: Hunter Valley - Sydney
Today is at leisure in the Hunter Valley, allowing you to enjoy the facilities of the resort and perhaps try some of the fabulous wines. In the afternoon, return to Sydney after visiting the Hunter Valley Gardens. (RO)
