Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Hanoi – Halong Bay
Arrive on board and enjoy a welcome drink and cruise briefing from the Captain and crew. Check into your luxurious ensuite cabin, enjoy lunch and explore the sundeck outside and wait for your vessel to set sail. Today you will visit Titop Island. Enjoy swimming, relaxing on the beach and for the more energetic, we highly recommend climbing the steps to the top of the mountain to enjoy fantastic panoramic views and photo opportunities. In the afternoon a choice of activities include kayaking though caves, karsts and lagoons (local charge) or visit the largest floating fishing village in Halong Bay by tender. Some of the villagers here have never set foot on dry land and it’s an extraordinary insight into how such diverse communities live. Arrive back at the boat to freshen up before_ dinner is served, after which, chill out in the comfortable lounge area with your fellow passengers. Take advantage of Happy Hour and get a drink or two from the bar, play a board game or join the crew night fishing off the back of the junk. Then retire to your cabin where the gentle rocking of the waves should lull you to sleep in no time.
Day 2: Halong Bay
Rise early for a light breakfast and, weather permitting the most atmospheric sunrise you are ever likely to experience. Join the Tai Chi teacher on the sundeck for a 30-min wake up session, it’s nothing too strenuous and a great photo opportunity! Today you will take a day boat and cruise to some of Halong Bay’s more secluded and untouched locales. Exact locations will depend on tide conditions but the experience will be guaranteed to be like nothing you’ve seen before. Enjoy a leisurely day of kayaking and swimming in this amazing location. Return to your junk late afternoon, chill out and perhaps enjoy an on board massage for total relaxation before dinner.
Day 3: Halong Bay - Hanoi
After a morning schedule similar to yesterday, arrive at Surprise Cave for a guided tour of one of the most spectacular caves in Halong Bay. The tour will be on foot and last for approx 45 min. Return back to the boat where you will be given the opportunity to freshen up and check out of your cabin. Enjoy a leisurely breakfast as the junk makes it’s way back to Bai Chay/Halong pier. Bid farewell to the Captain and crew and transfer back to dry land.
