Step aboard Reef Encounter for your Great Barrier Reef experience, with daily departures from Cairns. This truly is a boutique, personalised reef experience for everyone! Reef Encounter is large enough to provide all the comforts of a large cruise ship, yet small enough to enable access to spectacular reef locations inaccessible to other vessels.
The modern Staterooms all have ocean views, air-conditioning, private bathroom, and are spacious, with ample storage for clothes and luggage. On-board facilities include a large dining area, bar and lounge, outdoor heated spa and sun deck.
Enjoy breakfast before departing Cairns on a high speed air-conditioned catamaran to arrive at the Reef, and transfer to the Reef Encounter vessel by 10.30am. Over the next two days you will dive and snorkel up to six spectacular reef locations including Michaelmas Cay, Hastings Reef, Saxon Reef, Norman Reef and Breaking Patches. You will get to participate in 6 dives - 5 day and 1 night. Other inclusions are glass bottom boat, Marine Life commentary, reef video presentation and all meals.
