Day 1: Cape Town - The Winelands
Drive to the Winelands and the town of Stellenbosch. Overnight at The Spier hotel. (B)
Day 2: The Winelands
Set off through the heart of the Winelands, stopping at beautiful Franschhoek. Continue through Worcester, stopping en route at the Graham Beck winery. Overnight at the Montagu Country Hotel. (B)
Day 3: The Winelands
Follow picturesque Route 62 through the fruit-growing regions of the Western Cape. Overnight at Port Wine Guest House. (B)
Days 4-6: The Garden Route
Travelling over Thomas Baine’s Pass you arrive at Oudtshoorn, the ostrich town. Then on to Knysna for 3 nights at Knysna Hollow Country Estate. (B)
Day 7: Hermanus
Your route today takes you back towards Cape Town, leaving then rejoining the coast at the village of Hermanus - the top land-based whale-watching resort in Africa (Jul-Nov). Overnight at the Windsor Hotel. (B)
Day 8: Cape Town
Make your way back to Cape Town via Sir Lowry’s Pass, giving you views over the whole Peninsula. Connect with your flight home or extend your stay in Cape Town (B).
