Tour Itinerary
This adventure is an exciting way to get to grips with the many and varied delights the African bush has to offer. Explore your surrounds on raft and horse, and go abseiling. With both a day and night safari included, you'll see some magnificent wildlife as well.
Day 1: London - Johannesburg
Fly overnight from London Heathrow to Johannesburg with Virgin Atlantic.
Day 2: Hazyview
On arrival into Johannesburg, take a connecting flight to Kruger Mpumalanga where you'll be met and transferred to Hippo Hollow, your base for the next 5 nights.
Day 3: Abseiling
Start your adventure with an abseiling course. You'll receive full instruction from your guide before you push back and walk down the rock face. You don't need any experience and if it's not for you, you can watch or relax at the hotel. (B)
Day 4: Kruger Safari
It's a full-day safari in the world-renowned Kruger National Park today. The park is home to a wide array of wildlife and habitats including the 'Big Five' - lion, elephant, leopard, buffalo and rhino. (B)
Day 5: White Water Rafting
More thrills are in store for you today with a half a days white water rafting on the Sabie River, through dense vegetation and small rapids. Suitable for everyone, experience the majesty of nature as you ride the river in 2-man canoes. (B)
Day 6: Horse-ride Trail and Safari
This morning, saddle up for a horse ride through indigenous bush as you experience the area in a more natural way. In the afternoon, it's off to the Kapama Private Game Reserve for a sunset safari. Enjoy a late afternoon sunset game drive and a sundowner drink whilst watching the African sunset. Then a delicious BBQ dinner is served (weather permitting) whilst listening to the ethnic music from a local Marimba band. (B/D)
Day 7 Hazyview - London
After an action-packed week, alas your adventure is over. Transfer back to Mpumalanga for your flight to Johannesburg and onwards to London with Virgin Atlantic. (B)

- A reasonable level of fitness is required as some of these activities can at times be fairly physical, eg canoeing on flat water for half a day and approx 8-hour rafting.
