Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Adelaide – Kangaroo Island
Depart Adelaide at 6.45am for a scenic drive through the Fleurieu Peninsula to Cape Jervis. Take a 45-min ferry to Kangaroo Island. First stop is the Emu Ridge Eucalyptus Distillery, after lunch you will see a birds of prey demonstration before continuing to Seal Bay for a guided beach walk among a colony of Australian sea lions, then onto Parndana Wildlife Park to feed the kangaroos. Continue your journey to the Island Pure Sheep Dairy for tastings of yoghurts and cheese, and to watch sheep being milked. Transfer to your overnight accommodation of Aurora Ozone Hotel. (L)
Day 2: Kangaroo Island
Your day commences with a visit to Clifford’s Honey Farm, for samples of honey from the purest strain of honeybee, then to Kelly Hill Caves for a National Park Rangers guided tour. After lunch and a koala walk travel on to Flinders Chase National Park, renowned as a sanctuary for a host of native Australian animals. Walk along the rugged southern coastline to Remarkable Rocks and Admiral’s Arch. Your final stop today is to view the Pelican feeding area. Return to Adelaide by air and transfer to your hotel. (B/L)
