Day 1: Arrive Beijing
On arrival into Beijing airport, you will be transferred to the Novotel Xinqiao for the next 3 nights, room only. The rest of the day is at leisure to explore. (RO)
Day 2: The Great Wall of China and Ming Tombs
Depart your hotel at 8.00am and enjoy a full day visiting the magnificent Great Wall of China, the world's longest man-made structure, stretching over 4,000 miles across China. Admire the panoramic views before continuing to the Ming Dynasty Tombs, located approx 50km north of Beijing. Lunch will be provided at a local restaurant. (L)
Day 3: Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square and Summer Palace
Depart your hotel at 8.30am for a full day visiting some of Beijing's most famous landmarks. The beautiful Forbidden City used to be the Chinese Imperial Palace and is a complex of 800 buildings with 8,886 rooms. Tiananmen Square is the large plaza near the centre of Beijing and was the site of several key events in Chinese history. The Summer Palace, also a World Heritage Site, houses a variety of palaces and gardens. Lunch will be provided at a local restaurant. (L)
Day 4: Depart Beijing
You will be transferred to Beijing airport for your onward flight. (RO)
