Room cleaned to a very high standard every day with clean white fluffy towels Nothing is too much trouble Our room was quiet overlooking the playing fields, lovely to see local children and adults playing sports Beautiful Dover beach just across the road Great local restaurants over the road. More expensive restaurants further down the gap It's good to have a choice of restaurants. Already planning to come back Thanks once again to you all! The only one thing to say is that the rooms could do with fresh paint We appreciate this is difficult as they are open all year round We are already planning our return! Read less

Before we went, we read the reviews from others and got a bit worried, regarding the music, no toilet paper, cleanliness of the room. We can absolutely 100% say our stay was great. Before we went, we read the reviews from others and got a bit worried, regarding the music, no toilet paper, cleanliness of the room. We can absolutely 100% say our stay was great. Yes, they had music tues/wed/sat and Sunday nights karaoke, and was a little load, but never went on until the early hours, I would say normal pub hours. We had fun and joined in some of it. The toilet roll saga, we had plenty everyday, the room clean, tidy and had clean sheets and towels everyday. The beach towels you ask for as they are behind the reception. All I can say is, do not go on everybody's reviews other wise it would spoil your trip. We went after reading them and had a fantastic time and would definitely book again. Some staff were grumpy but the majority especially Shawn the barman/ breakfast guy was great and helpfulness. The receptionist staff were helpful in organising car hire and trips. Overall the hotel was a great place to stay and close to the beach. Plenty of places to eat, drink and get very drunk around the area. Very friendly all round Read less

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at the Time Out Hotel in March, 2024. These guys are not Sandals, and nor do they claim to be, so we should all set our expectations accordingly. We thought the hotel was well-run, spotlessly clean, beds were extremely comfortable, room safe-box was at eye-level (as opposed to floor level, this was much appreciated by an old man like me!) and they even have a “comfort room” for guests to take a shower post-check out before they fly home. The hotel is also well located – Dover Beach is just across the street, we were able to walk to & from the famous Oistins Fish Fry quite easily and the bus stop for rides to & from beautiful Speightstown is super-close. We didn’t set foot in the Amigos restaurant that Time Out share their property footprint with, so I can’t offer any opinion on that. All in all, the Time Out offers an opportunity for guests who perhaps wouldn’t ordinarily be able to afford a vacation to a premium destination such as Barbados, the chance to do so and to be more than happy with the whole experience! Room was big and the housekeeping was excellent, special mention to Jelita nothing too much trouble and so lovely. Fridge in room ice compartment and tray so ice cubes were available. We stayed in room 306, no lift but only 2 flights of stairs up . Deluxe room, great overlooking street but was nice to just look and get the atmosphere. Beach 2 mins away. Pool area lovely and they were always cleaning. Supply towels for sunbeds at reception. Amigos bar great drinks and service, had breakfast and lunch , but please note we booked half board breakfast and dinner with Loveholidays this hotel does Breakfast and Lunchtime board NOT Evening meal as we expected. Special thanks to Shawn and Celeste in Amigos absolutely fantastic service and amazing, Great location at bottom of the Gap, will stay again . Visit Daddy's Bar across the road great value for money on drinks as well . Amigos recommend Thursday night Fantastic entertainment group. As for the cockerel he likes the pool area, we could not hear him from our room, but who cares just enjoy. Read less

Just returned from a week's stay following a cruise. The hotel is in a great location just across the road from the beach. The room was lovely and plenty of storage space. The pool area was great and there was never a problem getting a sunbed. We had breakfast in Amigos every morning, the only thing I would have liked was a coffee machine instead of a jar of coffee and a hot water machine. We also had dinner a couple of times and the fish cakes were fantastic. Would definitely return again. Read less
