stayed here for 2 weeks in September. location wise, i dont think we could have asked for better, we were right off international drive. the room wasnt too bad, comparible to some cheap hotels in... Read more the UK but this was a budget hotel, so we got what we paid for really. the breakfast to go included in the price was a little odd. for two people, there was one piece for fruit, a cake or cerial bar and 2 cups of juice. I went for two weeks and the air con was very noisy and it broke and leaked extensively in the first week and this was not fixed. The pool and hot tub on my side of the hotel was really good however... Read more people were complaining because the pool wasn't heated but it didn't bother me. The breakfast in the Virgin part was very nice everyday and it had a good variety of foods and the waffle iron was amazing and the staff in there was super nice everyday. The bed was alright, not amazing but not terrible. The balcony was a nice touch at night looking over the lake and out in general. the room was pretty spacious and had plenty of storage. The bathroom needed to be updated because it was looking rather weathered and a bit beat, although it did it's job The staff were good in general and very helpful, despite charging me $50 for expenses which is refunded if you don't wreck the room and order food and charge it to the hotel The transfers were amazing to universal because it was organised but universal however the Disney transport from the hotel was given by a taxi and came at a cost of $12 each, and it also just went to Epcot and you had to make your own way to the other Disney parks but this wasn't too bad because the monorail and ferry and buses are pretty good because you know, it's Disney and they do things good. It picked up at 9:30pm, this wasn't too bad but you miss the Epcot fireworks show and also magic kingdoms fireworks because you have to get back to the transport and also it was often open until 1am and this was a shame that I couldn't stay until this time. It is definitely worth getting a rental car, I would've got one however I'm not 24. Overall it was alright but I wouldn't stay again because if fell in love with the Disney's and universal's hotels, and their facilities and downtown and boardwalk areas. Hope this helps anyone thinking about staying. Read less

Read more off those considering booking.I stayed here for the second time in a year the first two weeks of April and again i have to say that this hotel is more than adequate as a base from which to explore the delights that Orlando has to offer.Yes the rooms are somewhat dated but mine was clean and well serviced and If you book direct or with a more economy conscious travel company you can secure a great rate . This is about a three to three and a half star hotel .. and does not pretend to be anything else.Book with confidence .... i would certainly recommend this hotel !! Read more moved within 10 mins of arriving, had to wait till the following afternoon so couldnt unpack. next room just as noisey so we just turned it off but could here next doors and we were in between 2 rooms so had to put up with it when trying to sleep, old fashioned furniture and a really nasty matress on the double bed that made us roll in to each other, bathroom smelt mouldy and had black mould around the bath, plug leaked water as you had a bath and had to keep refilling while sat in there! carpet frayed on edges and the fridge was noisey too. old battered t.v.s and the maid only cleans every 3 days and she didnt clean the bath once! not enough towels and had to make up the shabby sofa to make a bed for my son, this hotel really needs updating and the paint and dirty carpets in the corridors were shocking. a good points, the kids loved the pools, oh and there is about 9 stray cats that live by one of the pools!!!!!!! if you stay here you will be dissapointed, book a better hotel, there are loads to choose one, we listened to the women in the travel agent who booked this for us, read all the reviews as they are correct.
