Currently staying at the Eden Roc for 5 nights in a junior suite with two beds and ocean view. This is my third and final stay. After a poor experience on my last visit, I decided to give it the benefit of the doubt and stay again in the hope I’d experience all the things I loved about this hotel prior to the Covid era.. no such luck. I’ve had a disappointing experience on arrival, it took 30 mins from arrival to be checked-in but I wasn’t so phased given the lady at the front-desk was friendly and accommodating. I was told my luggage would follow me. I proceeded to wait a further 40 minutes in my room - still no luggage. I attempted to call the front desk with no answer and eventually got through to guest services who took a description of my luggage and assured me it would be sent straight away…still no luggage. I then proceeded downstairs to the front desk and they apologised and advised it would sent up next. Still no luggage after 2 hours since having arrived at the hotel!! I headed downstairs and lo and behold my luggage is still there - so I dragged my luggage to my room myself and was able to pack well over 2 hours later. I understand from working as an ops manager in the travel industry things might not go as planned but it’s very much about owning the issue and making things right. At the very least an apology but also honouring a promise of call from management.. still no call but a frosty reception from the front desk this morning. Needless to stay I won’t be staying at Eden Roc again as this is the second consecutive poor experience and the bland approach from front desk isn’t ideal. I certainly won’t recommend the hotel to my customers moving forward. A real shame as the facilities are great especially the spa, the bar staff are great and the bellman generally extend a genuine welcome on arrival. I’d suggest The Palms Hotel and Spa as a far superior alternative, albeit a smaller boutique hotel whose attention to detail is much appreciated. Or a higher price point but a hotel that always gets things right especially the simple things such as a warm welcome and personalised approach to service would be the Carillon Miami Wellness Resort which is further north but exceptional. Our 4 day stay was a series of unfortunate events, from the moment we checked in. - Room service took 1:30 minutes to bring up 2 hamburgers -We had to REQUEST that we get our room cleaned on 2 seperate days, they had just forgot. - there was no staff at pool or beach 90% of the time, we were maybe 50 guests looking for pool towels, we went to front desk for help and the response we got "we dont know where the staff is, we cant help you" -It rained one day so we used the "spa" services, the employee made us feel so unwelcome, that I actually didnt end up going i just walked out. - One of our items of clothing went missing, requested to the concierge if he can check with cleaning staff if an accident happened, he said he'd get back to us and never did. - the advertise that theirs drinks and food service on the beach, but there isnt. Out of the 4 days, we saw staff once. There was literally one waiter for 70-80 people at the beach so anything we ordered took over 40 minutes. For the price you pay to stay here, please avoid the terrible experience, almost any hotel is a better option. Read less

I was told that we would be able to use three pools, including the adults only pool. I verified this twice with the front desk agent clearly. The next day when we arrived—first, we were brought to a dirty hotel room—with dirty towels and linens strewn about! It took 45 minutes to get the room cleaned. Then, when we arrived at the pool area, we were denied admission to the adult pool! The poor management and communication was appalling. I went back and looked at our resort pass and it specifies access to three pools. Overall, the experience left a bad taste in our mouths. I would not recommend this hotel’s day pass. The beach is still gorgeous and we had fun, but not due to the hotel or its unprofessional management. Read less

The rooms are huge with great view of the beach. I had a great time eating at there restaurant. The gym is really clean with plenty of machines you can use. The staff are really nice and welcoming. They are parking near the hotel and next door. I would stay there again.
