TripAdvisor Traveller Rating:
Rosen has everything you need to enjoy a good holiday in orlando. The price is fair enough, nice people, excelent locations (so close universal, wet and wild )Rooms are good, good bed, a lot of... Read more pillows, clean, good tv channels (if you have time to see tv) Totally recommended, it will be our choice next time we come back to orlando Read less
Stay would have been better if the restrooms had a vent. There is no ventilation circulating in the restrooms. Other than that I enjoyed my stay.Staff was friendly and helpful. There were many places... Read more to eat and Universal Studios was in walking distance. The hotel also provided free schedule transportation to Universal studios and Island of Adventures. Read less
The Rosen Inn is a wonderful base for an Orlando holiday. The room and hotel was clean, comfortable and well maintained. Rooms cleaned daily. Flat screen television, microwave and fridge. Coffee... Read more machine and electronic safe all free with the room!! All staff which ever post they were in, were very friendly, with greetings, fun and helpfulness. Security was present around the clock. We stayed for breakfast each morning and this was very good, reasonably priced, as much as you can eat and a bottomless cup with tea or coffee. Sets you up for the busy day from early to 11.00 am your choice, depending on you planned needs. Again staff excellent. There is a handy shop within the hotel for immediate needs and a supermarket next door for a wider choice. 5 mins up the road north toward universal there is large Walgreens supermarket. Location was amazing especially without a car!! This is the first time we have been to Orlando without a car. We had an 'I' Trolley pass which was $18 each for 2 weeks unlimited travel. Without a pass each journey at this time was $2 per person. So the pass allows you to hop on and off at any stop from 8.00am in the morning to 10.30pm, running every 15 to 20 minutes or so. You can get to SeaWorld, Aquatica, Golf, restaurants, bars and up to the outlet shopping at the top. Across the road from the hotel is a Lynx bus stop. Take number 42 to the Florida mall (this is big and has a very wide range of shopping shops, food court, large department stores and fashion shops) Journey takes around 30 mins and Lynx fare per person was $2 each way. Get the 'I' Trolley south to trolley stop 32. Cross the road and catch lynx bus 50 to Downtown Disney, it drops you outside 'Market place', Stay on if you wish to go to the Magic Kingdom. Again the Lynx fare was only $2 per person, in each direction. The Pool is a reasonable size and free towels and sun lounges are available daily, never struggled with getting a place and there are tables with chairs and parasols if you wish to have a drink and a sandwich from the litebite store. Having stayed at many different types of hotels in orlando from moderate Disney, budget and more luxury type ones. I have to say for the price of this holiday we made a very big saving which was our aim this time, and to test out a holiday without driving, and we had everything we needed, a clean place, a fantastic location, transport that got you everywhere at a low cost,( be it more time consuming and laid back) I would return!
