Perfect location and an excellent facility. Decor is a little outdated but that doesn't bother me. Service was excellent, we had a ground floor on the golf course, everything was in good working... Read more order, close to everything you need near Disney or surrounding area. Played one of the courses for $19.00 after 2:30 and that was a steal! Totally enjoyed this for 4 adults. Read less

My husband and I try to stay every year. I love the atmosphere. If there is ever a problem one call is usually all it takes. One year they replaced our mattress. The only complaint I have is that... Read more now that it's just my husband and I without our kids, there is no quiet pool area to relax. That's a big one for me on my vacation. Housekeeping is not quite as good as it should be for this type of resort. Read less

I have stayed with my family of six at the orange lake resort in mid Aug. It is a time share with lakes, restaurants and entertainment. I was suppose to stay at apartment complex at the resort... Read more . Luckily there was a vacant villa available, which turned out to be home away from home. Own carport, 2bed/2 bath with a large living room and a kitchen made us to stay longer. There is a publix store near the resort, which I thought was little bit expensive ( except souvenirs), therefore I ended up going towards Orlando and shopping there at the win dixe. I dropped off kids at disney in the morning and picked them in the evening. The guest drop off is little tricky. Ask the attend at the parking booths about the directions. If you are military 4 day park hopper is still the best deal in town. Shades of green sell tickets. You still have to go the ticket booth at disney to register and get the entrance tickets. Make sure to use the fast pass web site to schedule rides in advance. Love to go back. Read less

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here we were in an apartment which had two large rooms, one double one twin, a bathroom fit for a king with two toilets, two sinks, one huge whirlpool bath and one... Read more shower! I could of quite happily spent a few hours in the bathroom alone! I found the apartment kitchenette easy and everything was accessible. The grounds were amazing I saw a small croc on the grounds just pondering its way to the lake, to us Brits is a very very rare ordeal! The pool area with the pool shack restaurant was our main pool as we were out everyday at the theme parks so by night we would have a little food here and enjoy the hot tubs and the children sometimes playing in the pool until gone 10pm this I enjoyed as I have been used to Europe holidays where the pool is out of bounds after 8pm! I would definitely return here for the simple reason I enjoyed the shopping outlets, the theme parks, the whole American vibe and this hotel just seemed central for everything we wanted to do! Me and my family stayed at this resort on September 2nd thru 5th in a 2 bedroom villa in West Village room 5756. Our villa was clean, except for the balcony screen, which was covered with moth... Read more insects and spider webs. I would expect a property as this to have stainless steel appliances in all units, which I expected in a upgraded 2 bed room villa. Beware this is a cashless resort and there is a $250.00 deposit, which will be put as a hold on your credit card and they don't mention this on the website or if you book through reservations. Also they charge a resort fee, which is typical amongst all resorts in surrounding areas. There is no housekeeping service at this resort, so be prepared to clean yourself, but for a certain fee they will do a tidy up your room service for you. Everyday there will give you clean towels, but you will have to call and ask it. Floats for the pool will cost you and any other extras they may have, so have enough money on your credit card to cover these items. There are a lot of restaurant's on the property, but we chose to eat at the local restaurant's in the area, more budget friendly. If you decide to stay at this property make sure you ask lot's of questions, so you won't have any surprises when you get there. Overall we enjoyed our stay and will visit again, but will be more prepared. Read less
