My husband and I stayed here for ten days for our belated honeymoon. Before going I emailed Evelyn Howe who sorted us out a great room(I had already paid for an upgrade to a tower room) We arrived... Read more late afternoon and check-in was very easy. We were given a tower room on floor 7, room 2724. This is one of the corner suites and I would definitely recommend it! We had a view of SeaWorld from one window and the other overlooked the pools and in the distance at night you could see some fireworks displays every night! The room was great, comfy bed, great bathroom facilities. There was an odour to the water but this is just how it is in Orlando. Lovely toiletries and the room was always cleaned to a great standard. The room also came with free tea&coffee facilities and a free safe which was great. We chose transfers rather than using a car which I would absolutely suggest. You don't have to pay the daily parking charge, also Disney charges around $17 a day parking too! The hotel's free transfers to the parks were ok but could do with more options. Only one transfer to Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom a day, and two to Magic Kingdom and Epcot. Also there was only one return from HS&AK,two from Epcot and multiple ones from magic kingdom due to the nightly fireworks. Universal has two buses there but only one back at 6pm. One night we were waiting for our bus in lane 50 as advised but they had a school event on there and they took our space which caused much confusion. Make sure you book yourself onto these buses the night before. You are always dropped off in the spot where they will pick you up so its easy. The hotel sits right on idrive trolley stop 29 and is so convenient! The only complaint I would have is the walls in your room as SO THIN.You can hear everything next door. Our room had an adjoining door to the opposite room and you could hear them so easily. I put the spare blanket by the bottom of the door to keep out some noise. One night there was a wedding at the hotel and we were opposite the bridal suite. At 1:50am they were being so noisy I had to call for security. By the time the security made it up to us (15mins after my call!) they had left the room to carry on partying. Luckily we only had this problem once. SeaWorld is accessible by walking out the back of the hotel, make sure you get your fast passes from the concierge too. We only ate in the hotel once which was one evening when I had a pulled pork sandwich from Max's deli. A little pricey but very nice. Upon check out the young man asked if I had had my final bill through my door. I said no as there will be nothing left to pay as we paid in full before the holiday. He said we still needed to pay tax on our room. I insisted we didn't as we had fully paid for everything before hand,he went off out the back and returned five minutes later to say yes it was right and we had nothing left to pay. Very sneaky as someone else may have paid it without question! I would stay here again in a heartbeat, great location and all staff I encountered were lovely! Read less
I travel every month to multiple cities and I have never in my 25 years of traveling experienced such horrible services and filthy rooms in a hotel. When I arrived they placed me in a room where a... Read more security guard had to follow me to be sure I made it there safely. Not cool. Moved me to a second room and the floor was full of hair and the carpet was filthy. The next day they did not clean my floor again, nor did they vacuum the floor. Food and service was horrible and expensive. Computers and printers did not work in business center the entire week I was there. Purchased item at gift shop and they overcharged me and teller asked if it was okay or if I wanted her to re-do it and credit me for the overcharge. Really! Read less
