It’s ok for short business meetings they have a conference centre which hosts large seminars for thousands of candidates, unless you like to be in an office type environment with lots of people working and I mean thousands of people then it is not a family or orientated resort. It’s very difficult most days impossible to get into any of the restaurants apart from a fast food outlet quite honestly the food is awful. With little choice and little change they produce the same thing every single day cold dry pretty disgusting food. Absolutely don’t opt for the Disney food option. Keep your options open where you can go out of Disney to eat decent food. Most of the staff has issues the concierge can’t be bothered helping us with our luggage to Security doesn’t like to get out of the Lodge even though you’re having difficulty with the barriers generally they have major staffing issues. Only one nice person was the lady working on the out door bar and she’s not even employed by Disney Read less

We made our reservations in November to be sure we had the best accommodations available. Overall, we spent 8 days at all the Disney parks, Disney Springs, and at Coronado Springs – a vacation that cost us a collective $20,000. From the very beginning, we requested adjoining guest rooms so that two of our grandsons could share with us. We considered a larger family suite but it’s been our experience (and this was no exception!) that we left early in the morning and returned after the parks closed so this seemed like a great compromise. During the weeks prior to arrival, we spoke with or chatted with several Disney cast members to purchase tickets, plan events, and to be sure our accommodations would be a good fit for our family. We indicated our room requests online in our profiles, including near to bus stopping points, view, and again adjoining rooms. One of the cast members with whom I spoke explained that these rooms were reserved for larger families with three or four children. I explained that we were a party of four adults and four children so we fit that requirement. He promised he would put in a request but could not guarantee. When we checked in on Tuesday evening, we were told by the desk attendant that our rooms were not adjoining but were on the same floor and close in proximity. When we arrived at our rooms, we found that one of the rooms was half of an adjoining room layout with the other half being vacant. The rest of our family was four rooms away. I called the front desk immediately and after a long wait, someone answered. I explained the situation and requested that our family could switch rooms with the vacant room. I was told, rather curtly, that someone would have to call me back. No one ever did. The adjoining room remained vacant for much of our stay. When it was occupied, it was for a night or two. Because two of the boys are younger and smaller, it was necessary for someone to be dressed to take them to their parents early in the morning when it was still dark. There was also a frequent knocking on each other’s door when we were in the rooms meaning frequent up and down trips to open the door. We have been Disney lovers for over 35 years and looked forward expectantly to this trip for months, especially since our family was there three years ago staying in a suite at Animal Kingdom. Unfortunately, the inconvenience and lack of customer service experienced at Coronado Springs was terribly disappointing. Read less

What a beautiful place! We stayed in a tower room with a view of the lake. I don't know that I would want to stay in a non tower room here just because it would be a lot more walking. Even in a tower room it's a fair amount of walking between the restaurants, pool, etc. But, it's worth it as it's beautiful and relaxing. Food was good. Not my favorite disney food court but I always found something I liked. The gluten free chocolate cake was amazing, even if you don't eat gluten free. Three bridges restaurant was so fun, we all liked our food there. Their churros, flan, tacos and mahi mahi were our favorite dishes. Pool was great. My kids loved the slide which is not too scary for smaller kids but still thrilling. There was some shade by the pool for those that don't want to be in the sun. The kids outdoor play area was one of the best at Disney, my daughter said. We'll definitely go back. This place is better for a trip that you want to spend some time at the resort and enjoy what they have to offer. We stayed 4 nights. Housekeeping came every day and were friendly and helpful. They even graciously cleaned around my sleeping son one day and made sure not to wake him. Busses were good. Ya, there are several stops, but who who cares, you're at Disney. Wait times were not bad at all, and we were there first week of March. Read less

After reviewing all the negative reviews on TripAdvisor and Google, it’s very alarming that my family and I have experienced all the same issues that have been reported in the past 6 months. This was by far the worst experience I have ever had at a resort. We got to pick this resort for a make a wish vacation for disabled Veterans. The rude staff and issues we have experienced here ruined our vacation that was suppose to be a break and bonding time for my family and I. From being awaken every time a toilet is flushed in another room, or hearing someone shower in a different room. Hostess at one of the restaurants was rude because they were closing in an hour and was trying to talk us out of eating there. The front desk employee’s smirk and body language as I was voicing my issues at check out just set me off. Perception is reality. We were put in the cabanas by the main pool. Very long walk to restaurants and all the amenities except for the pool. There were no chairs by the main pool for our family to be by each other. Gotten woken up one night by a man yelling “ got to be f*****g kidding me, followed by more yelling and banging. My two year old learned a new word from a guest. Nothing like her repeating bitch.Uber drivers are not allowed to drive to your room, only in front of the main entrance. I couldn’t walk that far to catch a ride to go to the VA emergency room. Got charged for bell service to bring my target order , which was never brought. Never received a phone call saying man power issues, or any explanation. Had to walk to the front desk , long walk to get my delivery on a bell cart and push it all the way back to my room. Food is horrible, eggs for breakfast appear to be from a carton or powder. Continental breakfast at a chain hotel is better. We did have two black black Beatles crawling in the room. For the price of this resort, it’s very appalling. After I talked to the first employee , it seemed like I was talking to a wall. I asked for a manager. So another employee comes and talks to me and her attitude was the same. I got aggravated due to the fact like they didn’t care and asked for another manager. They both walked off and talked to another employee, that employee wouldn’t even come talk to me. I really don’t complain only when it just builds up to point I can’t take it anymore. Should have done my research and read the most recent negative reviews. There is a pattern. Not acceptable for a Disney property. Read less

Arcade is terrible as most of the machines dont work or jut eat your money. Service at the pool bar is incredibly slow. Rooms outside the main hotel are basic but fine. Cleaned every two days. The main issue is the food. You will need to book reservations very, very early to get in anywhere. There are not enough places to eat for the size of the hotel. Your only other option apart from the 4 restaurants is the main 'dinner school' style food market. The offering is very American. Fried food, pizzas, chicken fingers. None of it is very good and it is all very expensive. $18 USD for one bad burger. If you can get into the restaurants then the quality is better. Still expensive but better. So the main hotel building is lovely and its good access for Disney parks. The bus service is great and its very convenient. If you don't care about food then go for it. Otherwise I would look elsewhere. Read less
