Used the local buses which are very cheap and frequent, bus stop right outside hotel. In all enjoyed my stay, was made to feel welcome. I stayed at Coin de Mire between the 18th July - 4th August with my two young children. I've been to Mauritius on many occasions, but this was my first time to Coin de Mire attitude. I absolutely... Read more loved my stay at the hotel. It is great location with an outstanding picture postcard view. The rooms were spotless as was the restaurant and communal areas. On our arrive we were met by Ashley and I mentioned the reviews which I had read and he immediately gave us an upgrade to the delux room which was amazing and certainly above a three plus star rating as described by the hotel website. The security guards were helpful with crossing the main road. The waiters and waitresses were so friendly. If I had to say a couple of negative points, the Internet connection was hopeless, even by the reception area. Also, it would have been helpful if the hotel had a welcome meeting for its guest informing them of the facilities in and around the area. I know there is a brochures in the room but it wasn't that useful to my stay. I wish I had known about the complimentary glass bottom boat as I only found out the last day of our holiday and didn't have a chance to go on it. But generally, a brilliant holiday and the children loved it. I will definitely be returning to the coin de mire. Thanks Vanetha Read less
