It took a bit of getting used to, but after 2 days it all seemed familiar and we were happy in the surroundings Sri Lankans .are very friendly and hospitable people but the staff at this hotel take it to another level! With this in mind we are going to mention a number of people who made our stay memorable. The General Manager, Resident Manager and The Food Manager were always around, greeting us warmly each time, so it was a very reassuring.feeling. On our arrival we were greeted by and looked after by the charming and beautiful Tharani. Tharani was popular not just with us but also with other guests, displaying professionalism and friendliness in equal measure. She is certainly a great asset for this establishment. In the restaurant there was a huge variety of dishes served up by head chef Deepal and his team. Chef Rohan was always on hand with his delicious dishes, and his warm and infectious enthusiasm. Chef Indika charmed us with his charisma and humour, but above all with his delicate dishes. In the restaurant we were shown to the table each evening by a charming young ladies. We were really well looked after by Sajith , Dinesh and other staff.whose names we cannot recall. Entertainment, be it Aqua, Darts, croquet, snake charmers or cultural dances were able handled by the charming and humours Ali, helped by Roshan and Kapila. Shehan kept our room tidy and neat and surprising us with his artistic towel animals.(photo) There were so many other members of staff who were equally as wonderful so thank you all.
