We had a wonderful stay! The food and service was amazing. The staff works so hard 24/7, they don’t allow you to lift a finger. I would 100% recommend. The entire resort was spotless and the entertainment was excellent. Couldn’t have asked for more.

A Fabulous Week! We spent a heavenly 5th visit at our favorite Palace Resort, Le Blanc Spa Resort, from March 17-24. I was excited about seeing our favorite staff members again, after such a long time away! I seem to include them as my family members during my vacations at Le Blanc! Upon my return I encountered Roger (Diamond concierge),who was my first butler many years ago, who would always come to my room with a cart of snacks (m&m’s) in the late afternoons, with his signature smile! After a seamless check-in and lovely lunch, I immediately ran to the pool to greet the lovely Lucinda, (PC) with whom I spend most every hour of pool time, near to, as I marvel her kindness, endless smile, energy, and endearing public relations skills. I say Lucinda for President!! Everything is possible with this magical lady! As well, Laura ( Yessica) was always present in the afternoons giving her positive energy, classic cucumber eye masks and neck massages, to all the guests! And, Pool servers Christian and Jeanette, served up yummy Mexican fare and delicious drinks, graciously, all day long. I will miss them all! Our 6th floor butlers, Joel and Marco were wonderful! And my room was always spotless after Miss Maricela did her job so beautifully! My day always started and at the lobby coffee shoppe, Kakui, with Mia or Gabi at 6:30 am. Delicious exotic coffees and sweets to go. Before you know it it’s lunchtime by the pool. My delicious octopus and shrimp ceviche with a side of guacamole and chips! Heaven on earth! Spa treatments were lovely and the updated spa facility was lovely to experience! The kindness of the Spa staff is always appreciated! After a delightful shower, it’s off to have a cocktail and some musical entertainment at the main bar. I was impressed by the upgraded and talented performances. Thank you to the lovely, and elegant, Maira, would I was thrilled to see again after so many years, still giving her signature excellent service with a smile! And, the entire bar staff for their kindness and professionalism! Yama Asian restaurant was delicious.. try the Bao buns! And everything else! Thank you to Elias our old friend. And last but not least, Bella Restaurant, for the elegant and delectable Italian fare. Miquel was so patient and kind. Then back to have an after dinner delight at Kakui for my chocolate truffle or a decadent piece of cake! Then back to my beautiful room, smelling like a Lavender oasis! And off to sleep in the most comfortable bed, that felt like a dream. Until the next time Le Blanc. I will miss everything about the perfection of this last visit! Sally Hankin Read less

Great food, service. Attentive to detail. Waiter Justo at Lumiere and Juan and Alexis at Blanc for dinners superb, among other outstanding experiences. Our diamond concierge, Cesar first class. The spa services and our pool concierge and attendants were great daily. Nothing to complain about at all.

We stayed at LeBlanc for a week after staying in many of the other Palace Resorts over the past 15 years. We had put off LeBlanc because we were concerned that the place would be too "snooty" for us (we really like the casual friendliness of the Palace brand, as well as the fact that the employees all seem to genuinely like working there). We should not have been concerned. There were some extra, "luxe" touches, such as: (1) The included private transportation from the airport, rather than a shared ride, during which the driver phoned in our choice of welcome cocktail to the reception desk - it was put into our hands the moment we sat down to register. (2) The "Butlers" stationed on every floor, whose purpose in life is to make life carefree for each guest, by scheduling exercise classes, resolving any small issues that arise, and in our case delivering a yoga mat to our room. Our butlers for the week were Angeles and Jose, and by the end of our time we felt we were friends. But all in all, as in other Palace Resorts, we received gracious and friendly service from virtually everyone we met - including but not limited to: - Carlos, who checked us in - Cesar, in Guest Services - Lesley, the Concierge who calmed us down and made us dinner reservations for the week (more on this below) - Arturo and Claudia, who taught the aqua spinning classes - MarieCarrmen, Naivy, Georgina and Arturo, who made our spa visits very special - Lisbeth in the Beauty Salon, whose conversation was as pleasant as her mani/pedi was expert - In the Blanc buffet restaurant: Manager Raul, Hostesses Frida and Katherine, waiter Jose Lazaro, grill chef David (whose mariscadas were a high point of our week), and server Maricella (who prepared an authentic Caesar salad tableside, separating an egg yolk from the white without touching the egg shell with her fingers). In many ways, this was our favorite place to eat, not just because of the variety of foods available for breakfast and lunch, but because of the spontaneity a good buffet encourages (more on this below) - In the Mexican restaurant: Server Manuel, who played the role of host. No week is perfect, of course, and a couple of things were unpleasant surprises. - As has been pointed out before, just a small percentage of the rooms have balconies. While our room was very comfortable and well maintained, and had a lovely view, we were reluctant to just open the sliding doors and let the fresh air in, since we know this can lead to a wet and slippery tile floor inside. - EVERYTHING requires a reservation. I agree that reservations are important for Spa and Beauty Salon services and for excursions where transportation has limited space available, but LeBlanc takes reservations too far, in my opinion, in two other areas, making spontaneity impossible: RESTAURANTS. We had no idea, when we left our house on the East Coast at 6 a.m., that when we arrived at LeBlanc after lunchtime we would be unable to dine in any of the restaurants before 8:45, which was the first time ANY of the restaurants had an opening. We were able to get a snack by the pool and order dinner from Room Service, but that was not the same as entering into the spirit of the resort that evening. The following day we made reservations for every night of the stay, to try each of the restaurants, based on Lesley's recommendation. Our personal favorites were the French and Asian options. There was no buffet dining option, as there is in the other Palace Resorts we know, and in our opinion the a la carte Steakhouse currently serving dinner in that space is less appealing than all the other restaurants. One place to find a nice dinner, spontaneously, would have been much appreciated. Also, when we arrived for our reservations, in most of the restaurants there were many empty tables. Did this mean that people made reservations at multiple restaurants, then showed up at only one of them? We wondered whether fewer people would be frustrated if, as in other Palace Resorts, reservations were replaced with a system of signing up at the reception desk of the restaurant, and being alerted when a table is ready. EXERCISE CLASSES. When I arrived on my first day at noon for a water-spinning class, the first thing the instructor told me was that it was fully booked. Two people were present for the class. I started to walk away, then he asked me to wait and see if a spot would open up. None of the other spinners arrived, so I did the class, and then the instructor said that I should reserve a spot to be sure of one in the following days. I did, and attended every day thereafter, and several times the roster indicated a full class of roughly 8 people. The largest group I experienced was 5. I wonder whether the other classes have the same experience. If not, the instructors who lead the sparsly-attended classes should have a friendlier way of encouraging walk-ins to wait for a moment to be sure that a place is free for them. I have been long-winded about these niggles because the standard review form that LeBlanc sends guests doesn't have space for them. All in all, now that I understand how LeBlanc works, I will know for the future how to manage around the niggles, and bring my experience up from a 9.5 to a 10. Oh, and there was no need to worry about the guests being either pretentious or all young and beautiful - although that is all you see on their website. There were plenty of folks of all ages, shapes and sizes, and everybody was having a good time, and happy to converse with the people nearby. We would be happy to go back. Read less

Special shout out to Ernesto for finding coffee ice cream for my husband on our last day there! Super sweet and kind! Room was specious and we loved the aromatherapy menu. Our butlers, Joel, Ramiro and Saul on the 3rd floor, were very attentive and took care of all our requests with a smile! There are a variety of food options and our favorites were Blanc and Lumiere! We tried in-room dining once but wish there were more vegetarian friendly options available. You also can’t go wrong with their breakfast buffet that comes with a beautiful water view! Looking forward to coming back next year! Read less
