Recently refurbished, it really is a palace, and a spectacular one at that. Lying on Cancun’s tranquil south shore, nestled between a long, white sand beach and 55 acres of tropical foliage. A 27-hole Jack Nicklaus signature golf course is available for a memorable round of golf. Rooms are very elegant, in fact all have double Jacuzzi baths! You’ll be spoilt for choice when it comes to your dining options with 13 restaurants to choose from. All with private balcony/terrace, air-conditioning, flatscreen satellite TV, wireless Internet connection, direct-dial telephone, coffee maker, 24-hour room service, mini-fridge with soft drinks, bottle of wine, spirits optic, water and beer (which is stocked alternate days), safety deposit box, Jacuzzi, bathrobes and slippers, turn-down service, hairdryer and straightener. Deluxe Resort View Rooms have a resort view, 1 king-size bed or 2 double beds, sleeping up to 4 adults or 2 adults and 2 children. Wheelchair accessible Deluxe Rooms have a roll-in shower and 2 double or 1 king-size bed and are 5 steps to the beach (must be requested at time of booking and subject to availability).

Read more doubt, great. Something for everyone. Golf, swimming, food, drinks, doing nothing, it never ends. Go to the Swing Bar. Politely say no to the initial time share sales pitch at check in and keep moving. You will have a great time. Any room choice is good. Choose Grand if you want quiet; choose Nizuc if you want action; choose Sunrise, North, if you have kids, Sunrise, South, if not. Right, it does not have the hotel zone beach - okay. The Palace pools make you forget that. You can still go to the Hotel Zone if you want - hop on the bus from the Moon to your favorite spot. The people at the Palace make the difference. So friendly, so relaxing. Just go. Plenty of food choices - Mexican, Italian, Japanese, Caribbean, and then cheeseburgers, pizza, and fries - if that's why you went to Mexico. Order the 24 hour room service, you won't regret it. Just go. Read less

The Italian restaurant at the Golf Course did not offer Risotto on the menu and the menu looked a little light of other Italian dishes BUT the rest of the restaurants were delicious.With 12 restaurants on the property there are a lot to chose from!! We have stayed at many many all inclusives and we consistently find Palace resorts food better than the rest. The service at Moon is Impeccable. Javier in the Nizunc workout facility gave great Pilates and GAS (Glutes, Abs, Stretch) classes and Ana in PR at Moon Grand took care of a small transportation problem from start to finsh. Further we decided to stay a few moren nights ( we were going to Playar Palace for a week after being at Moon for a week and Ernesto and Jorge at the Moon front desk took care of splitting the time up so we could do so . Everyone at Moon Palace tries very hard to help you, accommodate you and make you feel comfortable. even thou we have stayed at Palace properties about 10 times this is probably the best service overall and there service is great to start or we wouldnt keep going back. Some that really are... Read more special are at Caddie House: Moises,Carlos, Alexis, Edgar, Rodrigo, William. Ricardo. Adrian, Angel, Luis. Reception: Saulo, Daniela,Blanca, Laura, Ingrid, Gabriel. Bumbablias breakfast the egg cook Jesus. Sales Corinne Huart and Diamond concierge Viridiana., Carlos the manager Trattoria, and Jorge manager Barracuda. Along with so many more all exceptional employees. Any business would be grateful to have this caliber of employees. They make you feel welcome and appreciated. One note of caution, they will work really hard for you to become a member or upgrade your membership. They, but not all ,will tell you just about anything so you will sign. They will in most cases not lie but not tell you the whole truth. Very high pressure but in a subtle way. One of the best that will be honest and work in your best Interests is Corinne Huart and you can trust her. Take a legal pad and write down everything promised and review and have them sign before you sign the legal documents. This resort has a great product but, since the founder has turned the operation over to his son and started this great remodeling and aggressive expansion plans you get the feeling they are getting a little greedy. They have so much going on internally that things that are promised don't get done in many cases without a lot of intervention. The right hand doesn't always know what the left hand is doing. All... Read more staff were extremely friendly & helpful, & facilities are amazing. If you're wanting an all action family break, then the main pool area with it's "Flow-Rider" & poolside activities is the place for you. However need to mention irrespective of your accommodation location, guests are free to use pool areas/restaurants throughout the complex, with a shuttle service available if needed. All in all a fabulous relaxing break & would recommend to anyone wanting a Cancun break. - has something for everyone, & all in the one place - or palace - sorry an awful pun! Read less
