TripAdvisor Traveller Rating:
Just arrived back from 3 days at Atlantis. I have a 4 year old and 1 year old and we found the hotel to be absolutely superb. The facilities were out of this world and I could look at the fish tank... Read more all day long. My daughter (4 year old) and I were lucky enough to do the Dolphin Bay experience which was something that I think if you can - do it. Food all round was excellent and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. One thing to point out is it's quite expensive so be prepared to pay a little over the odds for certain things. Example a pint of beer was £11! Magical few days - will return for sure Read less
The Atlantis is the perfect family destination. It's not just a hotel its a resort that includes a 5 star hotel, an aquarium thats built in to the hotel, a water park, over 10 different places to... Read more eat, kids & childrens clubs, tennis courts, a night club plus much much more. The staff in the hotel could not be more helpful - they are world class in every aspect of service. The variety of restaurants includes asian, european, italian, lebanese and a great steak house [the best we have eaten at]. All restaurants offer childrens menus [naturally]. The rooms are a high quality and large. Tips: 1. Buy enough sun cream before you go, the shops in the hotel are expensive. 2. Opt for the Imperial Club upgrade if you can - great service and a nice lounge where you can chill out. 3. Make sure you eat at Seafire and Nasimi Beach - both are very good. Nasimi Beach is easily missed as its not attached to the hotel. 4. If you like watches, there are good deals to be had in the mall under the hotel. Highly recommend a stay here - a must for any family. You will all love it. Read less

OK .. we like to travel and we like the words exceed expectations .. Atlantis Dubai strived and acheived this. All the resturants are great .. they will not knock your socks off, but are not middle... Read more of road either. We did a fair amount of research both online and word of mouth - interesting - u probe long enough - any spot can sound not so wonderful .. things we learned Atantis hotel is not really near anything .. meaning - you want to go serious shopping or to the gold/leather/spice markets or to the Burg Kalifa or a SUV tour .. expect the commute to be at least 45+ minutes each way. Stay on the imperial floor - why, express check in, happy hour every day, dedidated place to eat/get snacks, free admission to the water park .. we had a suite - 3 of us - boy is 9. Room had endless water, fruit, jacuzzi, was quiet, excellent view and comfortable. Another point - a ton of the staff were filipino .. could be just me, but the command of english and friendliess was super and we appreciated it. Cons .. well, wine .. bottle of wine in US that would be $40 was $300 (believe it or not) .. perhaps we picked a limited bottle (New Zealand Pinot Noir).. food portions were way too much .. not if u LIKE to eat .. u will not be disappointed, but we don't like to waste food. The gym - I went there every day (except one day that I woke up at 5 am .. and went for a run outside .. it was 65F that morning and they have a path that is 2 MI total .. I did parking lots and 2 loops it made 5 miles .. good enough for vakay) - latest internet connected Technogym and everything was in working order and staff kept it clean after sweaty monsters finished their work out.. oh yeah .. we liked it, but as soon as you leave the room in the morning and push the clean room button .. staff was there and did an incredible job Ok just a tiny bit more. . we've been vacationed all over the world .. one of our top spots. Now, this is a diverse bunch .. some restuarants you just have to meet the dress code .. there were codes for men/women and kids .. embrace it ahead of time ... since we really did not want to adjust to the time change too much .. we ate early .. most people don't eat till 9 or so. Last comment - there is endless shopping - if you are buying something expensive - no taxes, but know what the price is .. hotel had WIFI everywhere .. for example .. really wanted a watch, but the price difference was $600 USD from Amazon.com and dealer ...
