TripAdvisor Traveller Rating:
We spent the first week of December at the Westin Hotel. This was our first time in Dubai, and therefore we did not really know what to expect. To put it short, this hotel was one of our best... Read more experiences ever. From the minute we arrived (late after midnight) there was full attention on us and our requirements. Fast check in, very helpful staff all over and everything correct due to our reservation. The room with seaview was big and equiped with everything needed. The whole week we enjoyed the fantastic facilities of this hotel. The restaurants at the hotel were brilliant, the pool garden / beach facilities top class and the staff was so helpful and genuine committed to serve you all the time, when needed. We could just enjoy our week of Holiday. For travellers leaving late at night, the hotel provided relaxing facilities on the second floor after you left your room. You could relax, take a shower, use locked facilities for luggage and had access to business facilities. This is simply a brilliant idea. To put it all into perspective, the only thing to improve we could find during the whole week, was the agressive birds in the outdoor restaurant that sometimes bothered you (even the waiters tried their best to avoid it) and the stopped saltshakers!! If this is the level of improvement points you can come up with after a week of Holiday, one has had a terrific Holiday. Thank you to the Westin Hotel and certainly the committed staff for a perfect week of Holiday. We will return and we more than recommend this hotel. BW Ulla & Chr Read less
Just returned from 8 days at this hotel and very disappointed that it's gone very downhill, we have stayed here 4 times before including the year the hotel opened but having missed a year we were... Read more surprised by how tired it looks, carpets in rooms very stained & dirty and the pool area is positivity dangerous in places as the paving areas all around the pool have disintegrated paving with lots of broken & missing paving also the handrail to the main steps in the adult pool has been removed but not replaced so if you are older it's not easy to get in the pool. We have had lots of good food here in the past at most of the restaurants but the food we had from room service this time was terrible. We paid extra for an exec room which is no different in size etc to the rooms we've had in the past, exec club lounge not worth the money. Staff throughout the hotel are all very pleasant and helpful. Won't be staying here in the future. Read less
Westin Mina Seyahi was a great experience for our family. The staff have all been courteous and helpful. The facilities are well maintained. Loved the club cart rides and pools. The concierge were... Read more pleasant and forthcoming. We also enjoyed the delicious food from room service and blue orange restaurant. Though I must admit the cost of food was more expensive than we expected. Single point of disappointment was the check in staff member's pressure to get the executive breakfast for the entire week we stayed there. It was rather costly and a waste as we were barely at the hotel. However upon relating our concern to management we were able to get our money back. All in all we enjoyed our stay at the Westin Mina Seyahi. Read less

Hotel staff in all departments were best and professional , rooms , decor , bathrooms all very large in size , nice atmosphere all round, marina round the corner is at walking distance but we used taxi, marina after 6 you can spend hours , though hotel is bit far from Downtown , excellent hotel to stay , surely would stay again Read less
We stayed here for several nights with our two children of seven and nine. We loved the several pools and if that weren't enough, we then learnt that we had access to the pools of the adjacent... Read more hotel. The pool staff were great! Inside the hotel was a bit more polished and formal. Less personal. We travelled during Ramadan. I don't suggest you book then. Out of respect and the law, we did not eat in public during the required hours however this became difficult at times with two children. Dubai is also very expensive, no matter what you want to do. The location of the hotel is by the beach. This is great but if you are looking for an old city feel, this is not it. This area is made for tourists. Read less
