Dating back to 1912, the Fairmont Copley Plaza is a historic landmark in itself. Step through the grand front doors and prepared to be wowed by the beautifully elegant lobby. Step back out the doors, and you’ll find yourself in Back Bay — one of Boston’s best areas for boutique shopping, eating and drinking. After a day of exploring, you’ll find a welcome retreat here, with a rooftop health club with views over the city, and spacious, comfy rooms to get some well-earned rest before heading back out again to explore in the morning.

Studios are 415 sq ft and have a large sitting area, with 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults.

Fairmont Gold Signature Rooms are slightly larger and have Copley Square Park views, with Club Lounge access, 1 king-size bed or 2 double beds, sleeping maximum 3 adults. 

Fairmont Gold Studios are larger again with an ample living area and Club Lounge access, with 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults. 

One Bedroom Suites are 800-1020 sq ft and have a separate living room, overlooking Copley Square Park, with 1 king-size bed and 1 double sofa bed in the living room, sleeping maximum 3 adults.

Fairmont Gold One Bedroom Suites are as above, but include Club Lounge access, with 1 king-size bed and 1 double sofa bed in the living room, sleeping maximum 3 adults.

The location to the Boston Marathon was excellent. The room was quiet and had plenty of space. The staff in the restaurant were excellent - very friendly and attentive. The location to the Boston Marathon was excellent. The room was quiet and had plenty of space. The staff in the restaurant were excellent - very friendly and attentive. However, we had a few hiccups during our stay. The rollaway bed was a challenge. I was told at check-in that it was in the room, but it was not. After calling about it, they said it would be sent up "right away". Four hours later, it had still not arrived. I was told that there would be a light breakfast available for runners near the lobby on marathon morning. When I went downstairs, no one knew what I was talking about and I had to quickly find a "Plan B", which is not ideal on marathon morning when there are very specific time constraints. One of the reasons we chose the hotel & room was for the bathtub as I needed it for pre and post marathon soaking. The drain plug in the tub did not seal correctly. So, the water was always leaking and not holding water. The shower was also either in need of maintenance or better cleaning. It was pretty yucky looking. Given the price of the room and the standards that Fairmont usually has, it was disappointing. Read less

Beautiful hotel and lovely staff! Hakim the bellman and the front reception staff were very helpful and gracious. The restaurant hostess was able to accommodate me without a reservation and on a very busy night. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Snug luxury catering for comfort, convenience and accessibility. The service is great in all guest areas and rooms are quiet and spacious.

I was there for a 2-day confernce. I found the staff to be generously helpful. Everyone greeted me and offered help. The building is gorgeous and very clean. The bathroom was well appointed and the bed and bedding were very comfortable.

Spacious room, comfy beds and pillows, and friendly staff. Love the water refill stations with the ice dispensers. Would definitely come back for another stay.
